@bella: the coca-cola around here has never been as fresh since the factory closed..... >>;

just finished planning my lunches. still hoping to get a couple cooking gadgets (rice ball case, crinkle-cut slicer, microwave waffle maker), so we'll see how it turns out, these things usually change with time. that said though, i planned semi-special lunches for valentines and the day of school before my birthday (my birthday's on a saturday this year so the lunch is actually 2 days before my birthday). i also made sure to make myself use the gadgets i have (flower-shaped vegetable slicers, rice ball mold) so things don't get monotonous. ^^ (sakura-shaped veggies? fuck yeah!)

breakfast: rice ball w/ umeboshi (which is fucking delicious)

lunch: salad and oshinko (that was poorly made on my part, resulting in not enough sour and waaaay too much salt.)
rice
miso chicken (which came out perfect!)
iced oatmeal cookie
coca-cola

about to eat dinner:

greek chicken (seasoned with shichimi and tonkatsu sauce)
rice
cheeseits
iced oatmeal cookie

@Pent: Salads taste good if you prepare them correctly and develop a "taste" for them - try using a sweeter or more savory-tasting dressing at first (but don't overload on it, as that defeats the health benefits of a salad), and maybe throw in pieced of fruit as well (bits of apple or mandarin orange segments work especially well.)

@Nej: Were you ever not a stereotypical Swede? : p

I had coffee and a STORE BRAND TOASTER PASTRY for "breakfast".
