Not sure what the adult permission does on the forum, is it like a toggle for hiding NSWF content from accs without adult permission?

Even then not sure if I'm too much for posting NSWF content here, as I have been working on moderating my content spread to a degree, mostly because of bot scrapers. Glazing artwork does only so much.

On a different topic, learning to use IRC again, because pretty fed up with how corporate internet is run.
The #ostan channel is somehow still around, even if pretty deserted.

Yeah, in order to conform to more modern internet standards adult content is hidden unless you apply for the "Adult" role.

There wasnt much people there. Reikart and Suisei. And I think Reikart is a chat4all server moderator.

In the end its pretty easy to get on IRC. There's so many clients that provide various extras. But what I used to use back in the day was Pidgin, a multiprotocol client that can handle several types of IM protocols at the same time, not very useful these days as many of these are outdated. Pidgin itself is just very easy to use.
Just need to create a new Chat, choose the protocol (IRC) and the server.
#ostan is on Chat4All, and when joining Chat4All server, from the StatServ window that pops up, typing '/join #ostan' sends you to the Os-tan IRC.
