Anyways, another piece of news is that the second season of Haruhi, even though much still are but rumors, now is almost surely airing this autumn - this since the october airdate for Clannad (which previously had been, according to fairly safe rumors, competing with haruhi s2 for airtime) has now been taken off ANN's Clannad site, thus leaving the field open for Haruhi.
Great news number two: March 18:th held a big SHnY LIVE! event in Omiya Sonic City. While this has already past and is far away from real for any of us...
July 27:th will hold a DVD release for the event! Which of course means that The Scene will grab it up and make it available for us in the western world as well. To quote Neko Mimi Mode,

Yay, a H-NAlliance thread. Since Exa did something nice I'm gonna try to do something nice too! I'm currently negotiating with Rainbow Violins (http://www.rainbowviolins.com/) (my favourite violin shop) to make a violin with the H-NAlliance logo I.E. Nejins sig. I'm not gonna promise anything, I actually think it's very unlikely that Emma-sama will make one for me since it is a well known fact that she's no fan of cartoons, plus she doesn't really do alot of special orders like that. but hey, it's worth a shot!

Anyways! I also just watched the A.F.K. sub of ep3. And while they do not have the explanations of spinoff puns as Lucky-Channel and WiND do in theirs, they're WAY funnier (not to mention the fact that their OP translation is the only one that doesn't SUCK REAL BAD). It's kinda good that they're a bit slower than LC, cuz then you can first watch the LC subs and get all the inside jokes, and then watch a.f.k. and laugh your soul out. ^_^

And about the question of Lucky Star subs: I watched the first two episodes with a.f.k.'s version. I heard that they took of some of the references, so I'll compare a.f.k. and Lucky-Channel version of ep3.
EDIT: I watched both versions - it seems that I'll stick with Lucky-Channel. Maybe it's just me, but I like their style better than a.f.k.'s one. Also, the explanations are really good.

First off, text communications are always sent in "caps" I was not shouting. (although my booming voice could me mistaken for it in the vast echoing bridge of this cruiser.) That was simply a all bands text only message. Since you took it to be shouting however, I have sent this message through voice comms so that you can hear the calm demenor of my voice.
You claim that your faction is not preparing for conflict, Yet you use words like HQ instead of, meeting spot. Headquarters is a military term, used for the logistical and command hub of a military force, not for a few otakus sitting around eating cookies and saying how great their chosen shows are.
Nor is a united battleship something that could be concidered peaceful. and there is still the matter of:

Expansionisum and conquering are also acts of war. Even if such are not directed at us, we are duty bound to protecct anyone that is under attack. (if it was thougth diplomacy, you would not have used conquer as the word for it..)
Overlord is another military term for that matter. A lead figure for a simple club would call themselves a chairman, not an overlord.
Make no mistake, we have the elements of a military force as well. Titans, Battle fleets, armored collums and geneticly altered armored marines are made for just that. But we never claimed peace, made public crys for depolmacy and then proceeded to join a side. A deplomat wanting to defuse a situation would not show such favoritizum. Infact it was we that just perposed a cease fire, and all we asked, no, all Gin-sama asked, was an apology from turning your face from her light. She did not ask for you to join us, demilitrize, or disband, simply say you were sorry for turning your back on her in favor of others. (shes very sensitive you know, i think it comes from her father showing favoritisum towards that red demon.)
Alas for a first diplomat your words cut pretty sharply. We will continue our stand-down stance while the godesses concider your actions. Perhaps they will decide you are just a missguided child and they will forgive you of your tresspass even while you stand defiantly. Or perhaps they wont. If not bound by oath to follow their orders to stand down and perform peace talks I might have struck you down, or sicked Kanaria on you at the very least. However, I will reguard you as a rogue zelot right now and continue to talk to the 1st Diplomat as they now seem to have thier head on strait.
First, before talks, your commander brough up points I would like to comment on. A brigade is indeed a term for a military unit, just as a company, battalion, or regiment is. Forming a bregade could indeed be concidered a possibly hostel act (when dealing with such things, a wise commander prepares for the worst and does not assume things like "they are doing it for peaceful reasons" that is a good way to get caught with your guard down)
As for seperatists, as the name implies it is not an attacker persey, but someone that seperates from something. In this case, the 1st diplomat having originaly seperated off into the GIN-STAR would be a seperitist. You cant be a sepreratist If you were never alligned with something.
The as I said before about the evil. To insinuate that we are evil, is to claim the goddesses are evil and is very difficult to forgive. I saggest you leave negotiations with the diplomat. Astrates are quick to anger and slow to forgive. Count your blessing that we are commanded by those that forgive faster.
You are correct that you did not say us specificly, but as this shizum started mostly between our two orginizations, anyone would make the same association. As your direct and most obvious rival, to make claims and threats against "evil seperatists(attackers)" One would quite easily take that to imply us. Again, more carefull wording would do well to prevent conflict.
Onto peace talks.
You once again propose peace. I have consulted the goddesses, and they are listening. However... the original condition remains, however it will cement more then a cease fire but a possible alliance. Gin-sama is still quite hurt and angry that you so callously turned your back on her. She wants a simple aplogy stating in your own words that you are sorry for having forsaken her. All other matters will be forgiven.
I am no diplomat, I usualy settle my differences at the end of a boltgun and halbard tip, but if you ask me, that seems to be a reasonable request. humble yourself before Gin-sama and accept her brilliant light once more, unify two powerful orginizations, and save countless lives in the process.
I need not explain the alternitive.

That's true, a brigade is more offensive-sounding than a club or an association. I only want to have a defensive team, don't want to expand with blood and slaughter.

So, you want us to join to your nation? Hm... the idea is interesting, but I fear that would have some negative effects on our faction. But on to the deal with HARU-NATAlliance official violin! Emma-sama just replied to may enquiry and said that it might be possible to make one of those violins if their painter can handle it. But that leaves us with the problem of what picture should we have on it. The original idea was to have the H-NA logo, but as Nejin-kun said there is still no official logo, so it would be most beneficial to make one as soon as possible!

Humm, perhaps I was not as clear as I thought I had been. I never intended to combine orginizations, as well, our opinions would cause internal arguments that would hurt the orginizations more then a clear cut war. For arrangement of the treaty I would like to propose the area of the outer Frozen Rim belt - it is on the very edge of the TPS sector and thus the border of our general patrols. It is also easily accessible from the outside, and capt. Brenden can easily get there from his presumed position - but the First Diplomat will have to cross all through the frozen rim belt to get there, which will take a while even with our specified navigations. It is a perfect spot for negotiation, if what my database tells me is right.

Anyways, today has been sort of messed up for me, and after only getting 3 hours of sleep and forgetting my wallet including train pass and school ID at home, I felt like as if I just got struck by...well, not lightning exactly, rather a really unpleasant hangover. So I said to myself, "System Maintenance Day," and took a long shower before going back to bed. Now I'm up and running to some degree at least, but I doubt I would have been able to do anything of meaning in school anyway.
Now, off from bad reports to good ones...
First off! MY NEW PROCESSOR HAS ARRIVED! Yar for new compy! As soon as i get my motherboard and the other stuff home, I'll be able to start building on the long-awaited NeoN-DELTA.
Secondly, my scanner returned home this morning after a very untimely absence, and so now I'm able to get stuff up digital with not all too much bother. Among those are...the sketches for the H-NA logotype!

So now I'm about 25% done on this, and since it's weekend now I'll probably be done tomorrow or on Sunday at the latest.
Currently I'm working away the watermark on a Konata vector I'm using (unlike the nice lads at SOS-Dan, some Deviant idiots are very persistent in doing that to absolutely everything they do) - but luckily anime pictures are rather easy to un-watermark using simple gimp-no-jutsu. Just like DRM is easier to crack than a watermelon...aah off topic, but whatever. ^-^

Yay! At last it is out, the long awaited logo. Although I might have to resize it a bit before I send it to Emma-sama I will most definitely ask her if this is possible to but on a violin.

While i thought the transparent one was better-looking since you see all of the actual logo symbol, i figured it would prolly be a heck of a challenge to paint transparency on a violin - i DO have some experience in that area, after all.
Then I will proceed with cleaning and fixing it up moar, then! See if I'll have it up by tonight.
On a side note, I spent the ten-minute halftime break of my chemistry class watching Lucky Star on my iPod. And...it's actually impressive how little the lack of a large screen disturbs the actual impression. I seriously laughed my ass off, and banged my head against the desk - you'd bet my classmates were wondering what the damn haels i was doing over there... ^-^
I can imagine that. I can't actually watch the 4th episode 'till next week since I've blown my download quota by 4gigs. I was going to download it at work but alas, along came Mr. principal, and I got scolded for taking advantage of the schools network. :( So most unfortunately I'll have to wait. So don't spoil the episode for me!

Suzumiya Haruhi no Gekisou...best thing ever, I say. Best song, music-wise, was IMO Hirano's 'Parallel Days', but I think the guys made the best performance. Tomokazu-san (Kyon) was completely irresistible with his perfectly comical voice, and Shiraishi (Taniguchi) was just KING with all his outfits and general awesomeness.
Wawawa...WOAH!
And also, Tomokazu made a REALLY good Kentai Life Returns - I never ever thought he was THAT good at singing!
But lastly, the final and most extraordinary impression was the finale of it all, after the 5-person HHY dance. Hirano-sama...Aya-sama is ADORABLE when she's crying. Somehow, that just makes her not only awesome and beautiful in general, but it also makes her more moe than Mikuru would ever become. I'm going to savor this feeling, and keep it in storage for days when things are worse. And then I can take it up, and let all the misery and despair flow out of me, and be replaced by pure awe. Be delightful, for one day in your lives. Don't let it put you in despair! SPREAD THE WORD OF THE EMPRESS!!!
