i am seriously amazed!
Sadly I've never been to another country :(
But you others that have posted here have some impressive lists! I'd like to travel to many different countries!
At some point you must go to Turkey. It is my favorite country to visit but it's not a "beginner" travel location. You need to really know what you're doing to see the some of the coolest stuff. Overall, a relatively safe country. It was nice not having to go for walks armed. Nearly every major civilization in the past 4000 years has gone through Turkey at some point and left their mark.
That reminded me of another I forgot.
Morrocco.
UK and Singapore
Haha, Jeff likes this topic...
Philippines
Japan
Hong Kong (which is technically China)
Singapore
Thailand
Canada
Mexico
Now you're one hell of a globetrotter, Myrdin! I envy you...
But for myself? Hum. Let's see here...
Spain
France
Italy
Greece
Croatia
Slovenia
Czech Republic
Germany
Austria
Switzerland
Sweden
Norway
Finland
Denmark
Netherlands
Belgium
Luxembourg
Monaco.
So that's it. I've been almost everywhere in Europe, except the UK and Ireland, Portugal, some of the mini-countries and some eastern ones. And by the end of this summer I'll have USA, Canada and UK added to my list as well.
I've been to the philippines............yup..........here......................lol
oh yeah i've been to hong-kong. but never remember what i did there, i was 5.
I've been to the Philippines too!
(Technically no, since I do live here ^^;;; LOL)
And good lord at the lists I see here... they're pretty long O_O
I don't go outside of thailand. T T...
When you get the chance, you should travel. ^^ So much fun.
Haha, my list would be longer if it included the states of the US that I've been to.... then again, I'd think a few other guys' lists would be too. XD;
I wish I would been to Japan. ^^
I've been to Iceland (because I live there) After that:
Canada met my long lost relatives there, nice place.
Grand Canary Wayy too hot!
Denmark det er en meget sjovt land
England, Jolly good place although they ought to fix the air in London
Sweden Never.. never again
And that's all folks
I went to iceland too... TECHNICLY... but i was there as a stop, and was there less then an hour so...
Iceland, huh? That sound pretty...cool. Ehm. *general stupid joke number five*
How's the thermal issues goin' over there, then? (And what's with the anti-sweden thing? I didn't find it that bad)
Japan is a wonderful place to visit.
I heard it's an altogether different situation if you want to live there, but I can't say from experience.
Iceland's capital is fun to say. Reykjavik. I think that's how you spell it...
And I know nothing about sweden except their JAS-39 Gripen multirole fighter. hehe....
Sweden
Denmark
Germany
Netherlands
UK
Belgium
France
Spain (lived there for 5 years)
Cyprus
USA
Ivory Coast
Panama
Chile
Quote from: "SleepyD"Japan is a wonderful place to visit.

Heard the same about Japan as well (I've been to Japan technically, but that was a 2 hour stopover), since as a tourist you can just sit back and enjoy the view from an outsider's perspective... Japan though has lots of cultural niches that would take a lot of getting used to of you want to live there ^^;;
And I also know nothing of Sweden except 4 words: SAAB, Vigen, Gripen, and Neutrality ^^;;;;
lol, stopover in Japan eh? That was my first visit, technically. The landing was rough. I later learned that landing in Osaka is not very easy with crosswinds and all that. Yung sister ko, "sumuka sa Osaka". XD;; My dad said that. I find it funny. lol *bricked*
Later, my senior year, I went with my high school Japanese Culture club. (well, all the members that could pay, anyway) I spent a week in Japan, and it was quite fun. ^^ From being a hyper little otaku in Akihabara to a relaxed guy drinking cold mitsuya cider from a vending machine in the hot springs. So much fun.
India, Us, France, Switzerland, Canada.
let's see
Denmark
Norway
Sweden
Germany

i got on my schools study abroad program and traveled that way. spent 2-3 weeks in each country except Japan. i stayed there for almost a year as a exchange student
guuu~ jealous...
Well, I travelled almost four corners of Italy and I visited also St. Peter in Rome, so technically I visited also Vatican state (*)...
But unfortunately for me and luckily for my cats I begun more than 15 years ago to recover kittens and stray cats, so actually I could never move from Naples anymore.
I feed a vaste number of stray cats. They couldn't live without me... ;011
But virtually I can be everywhere thanks to internet. ;012
By the way, when in Naples, make me a whistle. It will be a pleasure to meet you if you came here to visit Italy and my place.
-----
(*) Maybe you are unaware of this curiosity, but actually Rome hosts three capitals. o_o
Do you ever knew of this fact? ;012
1) Rome as Capital of Italy
2) Vatican Citadel, State of Catholic Church
3) Sovereign Military Order of Malta
[It is an order of Religious Knights who was created in Jerusalem at the Crusades time (1084) to help hosting pilgrims.
It ruled with sovereign powers Rhodes island, then Malta island in Mediterranean sea upto 1798.
When Napoleon landed in Malta to occupy the isle just in 1798, they leaved in exile beacuse their laws not permitted to take arms versus other christians.
Even if their rights on Malta were enforced by international treaties, such as Wien treaty in 1814, Great Britain occupied the island, and ruled it upto its indipendence refusing to turn it back to Sovereign Military Order.
"Sovereign Military Hospitalier Order of St. John of Jerusalem, of Rhodes and of Malta" (this is the complete name) it is ruled by a Great Master.
It is no necessary to became a friar or renounce marriage to join the order.
It is official reckognized by 96 nations worldwide and has a seat in the UN council.
It actually is a no profit association for benefit purposes but has all the powers and the indipendence of a state government being in exile.
Actually has its own laws, judges, the right of make money and emitting postal stamps.
It has little territories sparse worldwide (mostly hospitals) and its main territories are an hospital and a villa with a beautiful garden in Rome, which is the Seat of the Great master and place for the Government.
It can be considered the most little state in the world, because it is dimensions. (it is even little than the Vatican):

Quote from: "Gummster"Wait a minute, I thought that Hong Kong was a part a China. Or were that just teachers lying to me?
Hong Kong was a territory under rent from China to Great Britain for 99 years.
Great Britain ruled it as colony upto 1984 (If I remember well) then it became a self governed territory under the british flag due to requests of the people of Hong Kong who made a referendum election asking for self-government.
So Hong Kong citizens could rule themselves with democratic insitutions.
When in 1999 it expired the rent location agreement , China refused to renew the location contract, so Great Britain was politely forced to leave the territory.
As being a democratic territory, Communist Republic of China preferred to rule Hong Kong as it beings its own homeland, but also being a different territory with its own institutions and its own elected representatives, keeping intact its democratic institutions, laws, and free press and TVs with freedom of speech.
(in Hong Kong you can't being sentenced to death if i remember well. In mainland China there is death sentence for 55 kinds of crimes).
The same it is the situation of Chinese Territory of Macao which was former portuguese colony.
As being conquered from China, Portugal was not forced to leave Macao, but when in 1970 a pacific socialist revolution subverted former fascist government, and the new democratic parliament of Portugal who represented all the democratic parties present in that european country preferred to leave all colonies to indipendence (decolonization) or give them back to their nations of which they were belong to.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carnation_Revolution
The motto of very pragmatic China communist party regarding its new territories it is:
One Single Country, Two Different Systems...
And if I remember again well, still chinese people of mainland must show passport when entering Hong Kong, and vice-versa.
Hong kong has a governor from motherland China, but a democratic elected own parliament and democratic observers in China mainland parliament, and a permanent seat in ONU.
well... people in mainland china should not only show passport when they go to Hong Kong -v-
i hope just one passport would be enough but you still need a permitT_T
and it's much easier for Hong Kongers to come to mainlandT_T
i live in china and now i've never been to a foreign contry, but i'll study in japan in oct if i can get my visa-v-
