The pictures are pretty wicked.. I wish my connection supportend seeing the video -_-
okay you all suck -_- its a giant fucking squid!! how cool is that? and no one has anything to say about it? nothing ga!
But we've all seen giant squids before. You just never got the memo. ^^'
but.. video...first ever.
you still suck
Poor Captain... v_v
I'll watch the video, now that I'm temporarily back with my more powerful computer. ^__^
edit: T_T
The bastard site requires me to install components. Stupid squid. >_<
Too bad they got outta there before the momma Squid came around. :P
yeah, especialy after they caught it after filming :P still for marine biologists that has to be the most geeked out feeling in the world
Good! I'm in the mood for calamari.
That squid is gonna make a lot of calamari. o_o
and its a mear 12ft long... imagin if they had caught one of the 60 footers the fishermen claim to have seen!
Meh,... that oversized squid's got nothing on its ancestors.... -v-
Once you're talking prehistoric, THEN you're cookin' with FIYA! ^v^
(http://www.tonmo.com/images/content/GiantDocPic9.PNG)
Or how about this blast from the past,... the dreaded giant sea scorpion that ruled the seas 500 million years ago!
The largest spider thingy that's known to have ever existed,... Eurypterida, we salute you! ^0^
*salutes*
You know, it's always been my hope that giant sea scorpions or ancient nautiluses or trilobites -- or at least their direct descendants -- are still roaming in the extreme depths of the ocean, far away from our instruments. Most of these "deep sea" creatures....
http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=19383
...are still from relatively "shallow" parts of the deep ocean. -v-
I plan on getting my scuba certification this summer because ive alwasy wanted to see all sorts of that underwater stuff. Most of all tho to check out ship wrecks.. but some of the lifeforms and such too

Then, I counterattack with this!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arthropleura
Arthropleura! King of the centipedes!
...
Oh, and about the giant squid...meh
I still want to see the ship-breaker squids from "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea" :D
But its weird that they found one of those things so close to the surface ;018
indeed, they have remaind quite reclusive till now.. it may just be luck.. or things might be changing.. who knows? It will prolly be a long time before we see one again
Quote from: "CaptBrenden"indeed, they have remaind quite reclusive till now.. it may just be luck.. or things might be changing..
...or maybe that squid just got lost :D
GWAAAAH!!!! @o@
I still beat you in predation, but you've bested me in shear size. '.'
*grovels before Darknight*
I'm not worthy!! I'm not worthy!!!! ;^0^;
Oh, and you've changed your AVI to a non-hag. ^__^
Waaai!! I'm happy. ^-^
size complex pig?
thats okay, think of it this way, your the biggeds sausage link on the block. Maybe that will make you feel better.
Im always here to help!
BTW, I would run If I was you.. 95-tan heard that. She also just got a new recipy for canonees style sweet and sour pork.
HAHA!!! Between the flood of my OS-tans and the Rozen Maiden invasion, the hag is completely outmatched and outgunned!! ^v^
It times like these I'm tempted to utter a famous 3-worded phrase.... -v-
(http://img66.imageshack.us/img66/3125/suiseisekiop5.jpg)
Yes, C-Chan, you developed the true New Model Army! ;001 The Ultimate Combination!!!
hag? I don't think so C-chan. 95-tan also disagrees with you
(http://img380.imageshack.us/img380/1500/060530ajs2.jpg) (http://imageshack.us)
have a nice day ^__^
hummm we seem to be getting off topic here... but as long as she slices up some kalamari after shes done with C-Chan its all good.
Quotehag? I don't think so C-chan. 95-tan also disagrees with you
OH-HOHOHOHO!!! Don't make me say that 3 worded phrase, cause I don't wanna hurt her little feelings. -v-
Besides, don't you have GIN-sama to worship now that we've conscripted you into the Gin-Desu Alliance? `v'
To oggle another woman in the presence of the black winged goddess is heresy, you know. ^___^
Buuuuuut,... as your Rozen Maiden-viewing senpai,... I think I can let that digression slide for now. A mere beginner's slip, happens to the best of us when we first start. -v-
As for a retraction,..... well,... you can always bribe me a "torso check". ^___^
IF IsNull(Torso Check) = False Then
"Many nice words for 95-sama." ^__^
Else
"Hag" `v'
End If
I'm so devious, ~desu. Wonder where I get it from, ~desu? ^v^
(http://tuduraori.com/images/2006/01/suiseiseki.jpg)
Oh, and to stay on topic.....
Who here has a picture of a SHELLED squid? `v'
does anyone remember where we parked the squid?
Giant Squid sucks. Colossal Squid is bigger.
Edit: Oh, and does squid actually taste good? What like?
ever have calamari?
or as wikipedia calls it, fried calamari (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fried_calamari)
Chewy, and pretty good. I normally have the "chinese cuisine" thing the article mentions. ^^
I know I've had other squid dishes, but I can't remember what they were, or what they tasted like... lol
Oy i cant stand any form of sea food exept tuna and fish sticks -_-
Jeff really likes Asian seafood. ^^ The Philippines is an island country... It's hard to avoid seafood dishes. you could blame the Spanish for the non-seafood stuff like lechon (um... suckling pig. ^^; ). And being fond of Japanese cuisine, well, you get the point.
Jeff has a different opinion of western stuff. ^^ The good stuff is almost always fried or in the form of a tuna sandwich, and I've never liked the "gourmet" seafood dishes at restaurants and parties.

You know, it's weird that even when I live in a coastal city, which has a considerable fishing industry, I don't use to eat a lot of seafood. Nor most of the people living here, I think.
;013
interesting. Just like how some Filipinos seem to favor beef and pork over fish.... ^^
Actually, I think I know more chicken/beef/pork Filipino dishes than I do fish ones, now that I think about it
And even weirder: the farther you're from the sea, the more seafood you consume.
;013
Sometimes I eat my hotdogs like a taco. Is there anything wrong with that?
colossal squid!!!

Poor ancestor!
how do you ride that thing?? ;026
Ride Kracken skill :D But I have no idea where you can learn that...
THAt squid is so wasted!!
what's that bottle next to it Beer filled tea-bottle? hehe
maybe you could learn the Ride Kraken Skill from aquaman..
Quote from: "zjhentohlauedy"
maybe you could learn the Ride Kraken Skill from aquaman..
Don't you mean merman? Ok, I'll go to Atlantis or some similar place to find it out! :p
I think Aquaman could also ride those things, he is king you know. ^_^
but i guess you could also learn it from a merman ^_^
Before you can go to atlantis or learn to ride one of those things
You should also learn to call the creatures of the sea. i heard its hard getting one of those things
So much fuss about getting one skill... I rather get some similar skill that's easier to obtain.
i agree, krakens might be better for eating than riding hehehe
but you could be the first kid on your block to ride a kracken! how could wowuld that be!
You know, CaptBrenden, sometimes people change their mind...
