What happened to this site during the whole month of August? How come when ever I would try to go onto this site during August it said your this site is not Secure like it kept giving me this damn Privacy error did something bad happen if anyone could explain that would be that would be quite nice if you explained to me what happened to this site in during the month's of August.
I took down the site to spite my enemies.
(Also, I think the site's SSL certificate expired during that period.)
It literally expired yesterday
The security issue was that Apache was redirecting ostan-collections to goujer.com since they are ran on the same computer and because the certificate for goujer.com does not include ostan-collections it shows as a privacy error

OS-tan Collections is one of several projects I host on my server.
I was using the word "enemies" in a very loose way there. There have been trouble makers and drama makers in OSC and its surrounding communities in recent years.
I am now on a very low tolerance policy for that kind of behavior.
As for the bots, it's more of a sign of the times. In all likelihood they're are just data collection bots that are trying to farm peoples personal information or post spam to trick people into giving money.
Nothing for anyone to worry about hopefully.
@Goujer will we be able to visit the Galleries soon there not working, also how come Guest are not able to see the link to both Galleries anymore?

@Zacian King of Windows Asking the same thing twice in two different posts is very rude and does not make me answer faster.
The gallery will be closed until I can find a better method of hosting it, however the links should now be working again.
i get that you love the site and are anxious, but please remember that we all have outside lives, too! the galleries are getting a major upgrade, so please be patient. as for the site, it's as Goujer said. there's been a LOT of behind the scenes drama for almost a decade, and it's flaring up again, badly. the site needed a cooldown period for safety reasons (kinda).
i can't speak too much on technical matters (i might be a mod, but again, we all have outside lives, and mine has plenty of non-OSC drama, too), but for now, the site lives, and it's stable. the galleries are gonna be much better once they're done. if i can properly organize my time (yay ADD), i might go through my old HDDs and see if there's any photos that never made it into the gallery, so there might be fresh stuff incoming. (don't get your hopes up, though, i'm unemployed atm and really need to fix that.)

the first step to becoming a better person is realizing it needs to happen! you're good imo, though, you were just freaked out since you like it here. i understand there isn't a lot of transparency. that has to do with the drama, so sorry it has to be this way. ;v;

if it's possible to, i'd put some level of IP tracking on EVERYTHING of yours that you can, provided the info only goes back to you. i agree that it's likely who we think it is, but given how "nice" people are on the internet, who the hell knows. this is making me paranoid of almost everyone. >>;
