With the tragic loss of my drive, the picbomb i had been working on for months was lost too. Thus, i have a plea for the public:

I was going to upload the pics i had left, and then provide all the sites i've found, on the condition that anyone that agrees to help follows my two rules:
1. Report all uploads.
2. GATHER AND UPLOAD ANY AND ALL PICS WE DO NOT HAVE ON SITE.
no matter how gross, disturbing, semi-redundant or loli a particular picture is, if it's not on the site, i went and got it, regardless of whether "i liked it" or not. even if it's just lineart of a particular picture, i got it. (i like to think of the lineart pics like colouring book pages, giving people the oppertunity to colour it the way they want to. :3)
if you can swear to this, then i'm asking for your help. if not, then this thread doesn't apply to you.
i just lost 14,000 pics/several months worth of work. i realize that i won't be able to get them all back alone. so please, help? :[
I think I'll go recover that hentai doujin I read last night and upload it...as much as I really don't want to. Also, I have a stash of much more pleasant 2k-tan artwork that I didn't see in the gallery; which I'll throw in to balance it out.
In other words, you have my support. I'll dig around for art of some of the other characters I like later on

You can provide some links; after all, the only place I really know of is the Warp Zone; which is also where that really cool 2k-tan artwork I uploaded a few days ago originated from.

I added two of the 2k-tan pics I had in my stash. I'd add more of them, but my connection is really slow right now...

If its all on a "dead" HD then do this:
Put in plastic bag
Put in freezer for 15 minutes
take out
let it sit for 5 or 10 min it should still be chilled
it should work now for around 1 hour or so then die again
I just want to clarify one thing though:
HAS THE HDD STOPPED SPINNING?
if it still is, this should work out for you, ether this or you download a recovery program.
I would recommend one but I've forgotten the name of the one my dad uses all the time which is really easy and works real well!
Hope this works out! I'll start grabbing pictures for a while just in case this doesn't work out.

my porn drive died and i tried that; be mindful after x time, the metal plates will get moister on them and fuck them up.

since the power connector to my drive connector is gone
i can plug them into desktop computers, so it'll be ok, but still, fml.

To be honest, that doujin was less painful the second time around; mainly because I averted my eyes from the thumbnail when it got to the part featuring the thing that should not be. Still not pleasant, but not enough to cause a second BSOD

Honestly, I don't understand why you want to overload OSC's servers with tons of images if they're shitty or unappealing - I'd like to keep the galleries filled with the "best of the best" and forget the rest. -______-

regardless of content, IT'S AN OS-TAN PICTURE. how can we call ourselves an os-tan fansite if we pass up pictures we don't like? how do we know that someone might not like it? it's like the futanari pics. i like them in a way, but if some of you had your way they wouldn't be here. >:[
