chalk sits up, holding his head. he wonders why he is lying on the floor, or why he is.....male? cool! now chalk can pee standing up and write his name in the snow. -w- observing his person chalk begins to realize that he lacks boobs. crap! now what will he use to fake-manipulate people and fondle for shock value? at least he retained the bone structure. damn, if chalk and choco could both exist at once, they'd likely date one another.
standing up, chalk observes that he seems to be in a very generically coloured room. looks suspiciously like a windows vista theme applied to a room....creepy. chalk investigates a door in front of him, only to find that it leads into a bathroom. chalk goes inside and decides to splash some water on his face. this whole ordeal seems to have left him rather warm for his liking.
upon splashing water into his eyes, chalk realizes that he is not wearing glasses. CRAP! WATER IN EYES!! looks like that eye-drop aversion has stayed with him. chalk blindly gropes around for a towel, eventually finding one hanging from the wall, where they usually are. chalk mentally scolds himself for not noticing that earlier. chalk looks into the mirror; is he handsome? he doesn't think so, but secretly he does slightly (though he would never admit it). chalk's amber eyes are clearly visible, as nothing is obstructing their view such as GLASSES. chalk's dark hair is tyed back in a small, stumpy ponytail that sticks out awkwardly, yet somehow it seems to work out. chalk has 2 ear piercings. he wonders if they are on the gay side. chalk notices that he is taller (he is worried he might hit his head on the doorway) than he is used to. he is dressed rather SHARPLY, in black dress shirt and his formal-ish black pants. this pleases chalk. he hopes that no one will notice the paint stain on the cuff of his pants from that time he helped paint his friend jack's room.
chalk walks back into the previous room, which he seems to have deemed the LIVING ROOM. chalk thinks he hears noises outside, but instead of investigating, chalk happens to find an unopened CAN OF SODA on the table. chalk thinks the couch looks rather comfortable. chalk sits and opens the soda, drinking it in as he tries to contemplate how exactly he got here.

Hm, interesting that you always found men to be filthy Nejina. I was always a bit adverse to members of my own gender back when I was a girl, for various reasons. Maybe because I'm androgynous, and for a girl, being androgynous usually = being more male-acting. :\
I haven't thought about it Chalk; but I think I could like yaoi. I think one of the reasons girl-me liked yuri was because it involved members of my own gender, which meant I could identify with them better. Perhaps now that I'm a dude, I'll be able to appreciate yaoi. Hehe. ^^'

Now I has realized a problem. Almost none of my old gear fit me. -_- At least I've almost retained my shoulder width, so my jackets should still be largely wearable, with some front-level pressure...not that it's all too much, but I might have to skip a button or two -w-;
All of my shirts are way too long, however, so I'll have to deal with that somehow. Trousers can just be folded up a bit, so it should be fine (my ass/hips haven't shrunk one bit >_>)...as for underwear...my sister has more than half of her combined wardrobe in my room. It'll have to do for the moment.
THE GOOD SIDE OF IT: My cashmere coat now goes well below my knees, making for epic awesomeness.

Chalks loads a few on to a plate and brings them back to the living room, then waits for them to cool.
Without thinking Nejina sneaks off with a few of dem cookies to her own room, and downs them in a quick omnom maneuver.
Realizing that she has just walked from Virginia to northern Stockholm, she deems it most logical that our living spaces are all semi-connected by means of some sort of R-axis portal device. Chalk offers a cream-filled caramel to Krausia in exchange for a sweet.
Krausia takes the caramel with a huge grin as she loves caramel! She then passes Chalk 5 large packs of chocolate buttons and omnom on the caramel.
Krausia then starts to fiddle with her abruptly long hair as it grows extremely fast and drapes down to the floor.
She then remembers she has a Biology final the next day and needs to be home for some din so she creates a scarf with her hair, puts on her officer jacket, and standard issue boots. She returns to the room to say goodbye and declares a challenge "If we ever play Risk, I call Australia!" though Australia is dead man's land in Risk. She steps out into the cold to walk home, she abruptly returns minutes later having forgotten her L85A1 by the door for which she carries for protection and immediate deployment ops.
Nejina is hoarding her Lembas. Nothing else needs to be said on this topic.
Katarina tilts her head to the side.
She then summons popcorn with an awesome hand motion, but none comes.
Disappointed, she sits down and begins to play Robot Unicorn Attack on her iPhone.

Remembering the Manswers episode he saw earlier when they talked about eating cats and dogs, Chalk looks down at the sandwich, horrified. A single tear escapes his eye as he hugs the sandwich.
With a loud "RRRRIP"-ing sound another hole opens in the space where everyone is standing, and Nejina's head pops out. "Damn holes whisking me off all the time. Anyway, off, are we? I'm full stock on Lembas, but be sure ya bring water. Pyramids generally aren't very humid. Follow me!"
Motioning for the others to follow, Nejina's head vanishes into the murky gray of the hole.
Krausia enters the portal to the inside of the pyramid, she finds that the mummy's are not in their tombs anymore and some old rags are left in their place. Krausia then hears a loud moaning sound on her 6 o'clock, turning with steadfast speed she aims her rifle at the mummy zombie and rips it to shreds.
Hopefully Negin and Chalk will get in there to help her as she is surrounded 0.0
Packing water (and still hugging his sandwich), Chalk proceeds to explode the back of the head of the mummy closest to Krausia using a Backpacker Shotgun that was apparently shoved haphazardly into his backpack. Chalk stands a la rambo, placing the sandwich on his shoulder like an old buddy.

Krausia snaps out of it when slapped by Chalk. She opens her bag to retrieve C4 Plastic Explosives which she then plants according to her training. She then proceeds to demolish the pyramid from the inside out...
Demolition reveals that it was merely a movie set - however, the party now seems to be located in the middle of an antarctic tundra.

Chalk eyes Nejina suspiciously after that comment about the chloroform and poor unsuspecting Brandon. O___o;
Chalk realizes he forgot to bring a winter coat. Shivering, he contemplates tying one of the girls around his shoulders like a pelt. :\
Whilst everyone else is off tripping through rips in space and possible time, the Colonel sneaks off to the pantry where a inconspicuous blue police box is stashed.

Noticing the portal behind him, Chalk grabs the two girls and makes a beeline for the pantry. Upon entering, Chalk looks in the wardrobe to find himself a jacket and a bow tie. -w-
Suddenly, every inch of portals, pantries and islands dissolves into thin air. After a few moments of confusion, the familiar visage of the kitchen reappears.

Intense rolling around in her sleep has made Nejina a pretty smooth and comfortable snow bed. There is now a shovel in her bed. Nejina is not amused.
"MY SNOW. OFF." She grabs the shovel sleepily and attempts to wrestle it from Chalk's hand, but as this seems impossible she produces a small vial of liquid nitrogen and splashes it on the handle of the shovel, which snap-freezes and cracks off.
"And I don't like pistachio," she mumbles as she rolls back into a more comfy position.
Boris takes some cookies. "I need a distraction".

As his shovel is broken, Chalk proceeds to bury Nejina in the snow as one would bury someone in the sand.

Frusterated, Chalk begins again burying Nejina, this time including Brandon in as well. >:\

Nejina digs herself deeper into the snow in an attempt to evade Brandon without running too far away from her bed. This results in her going through the floor, which has now apparently transformed to snow, and falling down into what is apparently called "Bedroom #4" going by the sign above the door. It is around 5 meters across, and is entirely made of ice, aside from textile blanketry.
Having landed on hard ice after a 3-meter fall, Nejina is now in quite a bit of pain, and curses violently as she lays herself on the bed.
Chalk quickly pulls Brandon away from the sinkhole made of snow.
He tosses a rope down for Nejina.
Boris is conflicted. "Who should I help?" :(
"Me." Chalk mutters, while trying to pull up Nejina.
"Or Him." Chalk mutters again, pointing to Brandon, who is lying haphazardly in a pile of snow.
One one hand, Boris wants to help the underdogs, but on the other...

Nejina evades all groping hands from above by rolling around the icen bed. "No need to rescue me from here. This one's a real bed, at least. And going by the numbering, I'd wager there's more rooms through this door...Nothing to do with me though. I'm sleeping here. Nice and cold."
Chalk plants a stake in the ground and ties the rope to it, letting it dangle into the hole.
Seeing as there are no cookies, Chalk decides to return to his TARDIS.

Suddenly, the floor breaks in a very spectacular way. Everyone falls down in a most surprised manner and end up in a very large body pile.
Due to being on the very bottom of the pile, Nejina is out cold.

Krausia sets up a defensive perimeter and starts to get everyone un-piled (wat.). and prepares tea with her portable kettle and stove top (Heat plate)
Chalk takes out a tin full of tea leaves. he hands it to Krausia in happy expectation of tea. :3
When Brandon regains consciousness he realizes that he has fallen directly on top of Nejina. Abashedly he jumps away before returning to make sure he hasn't killed her. He it relieved to find she has a pulse.
"It looks like we're missing a few... has anyone done a head count?"
Yes. Think I've forgotten it now.
Nejina awakes, only to find Brandon just in the act of removing himself from her person. Nejina grumbles something about seizing the moment to herself, then realizes the majority of the snow is gone. "My pillow," she groans.
After a few moments of thought, she manages, "Does anyone have a pillow?" Then after a few seconds, with a slightly more awakened tone to it, "And has anyone seen my cloud? I'd really appreciate having it back."
Chalk hands Nejina a lump of snow resembling a cloud. :\
Nejina looks at it with a somewhat sad look on her face, then grabs it. After a few seconds of deep thought, she stuffs it in her mouth with a voraciously pronounced "Mmf."
Chalk smiles in a way that says, "I did good!" ^^
Brandon rolls around in the snow.

Chalk picks up some snow and forms it into a ball. He proceeds to throw it at the next poster. :3

Sitting back in the chair he was in before, he sips the tea, letting the warm, cozy feeling return. -w-

Choza gets a great idea and closes her computer, getting up and putting it under her arm. It was much bigger than she remembered, it used to fit just under her elbow and not even reach her wrist.
She takes the laptop to her room and slides it back into its case, then heads for the kitchen!

Choza looks to chalk with a srs face and nods, putting on her apron, tapping her foot to the 'jazz'.
Brandon opens an umbrella before Chalk's tea can splash him and Colonel-chama.
"Nice try!" he calls out, before continuing to serenade his lady with the sweet sounds of the Rick Astley discography.
Choza pulls the pan of steaming cookies out of the oven with her glove and sets them on the counter.
She puts her small hands to her mouth, "Cookies are ready!" she shouts throughout the crazy house.
Taking one herself, she lifts it to her lips and takes a small bite.
I think I'll get some of those cookies now

"Well, one for. Here we go, then!" With a suddenly excited smile, Nejina Pushes The Big Red Button.
The whole building starts to rumble, and a slight g-force starts pulling everyone down to the floor. Outside the windows, the treetops are slowly getting closer.

Choza, doing pushups, falls towards the ground onto her stomach due to the sudden shift in gravity, her chest landing first, then the rest of her body and finally, her head. "owe," she mutters. Her face switched to a slight grimace.

While Colonel-chan is laughing in relief, a big dark-ish ray envelops the ground around her. She is beamed up to the airlock/hallway of the house, which has now started to transform into something rather less house-like and rather more ship-like. The ship is hovering steady at 1km altitude, mainly to make sure everyone has a bearing on something inside, since it still looks like a somewhat dislodged lodge on the innards.
"Well, this could've used some more work, I guess," Nejina mutters as she stalks around the former kitchen table, which has turned into a rather lavish and sparkly array of control panels. "Not enough black, and way too much gloss overall..."
*Penti-chan lies on the floor; still knocked out*
Annoyed at his SECOND ruined cup of tea, Chalk takes a sliver of his broken teacup and whips it at Nejina's forehead. He leaves his chair for the kitchen.
Upon arrival, and not wanting to change AGAIN, Chalk wipes off his kimono. He then proceeds to get a THIRD cup of tea. >__<;
*curls up where she beamed up and begins to sob uncontrollably*
*Is having really weird dreams about riding in a go-kart shaped like Yoshi that runs on happy faces, while gunning down a yellow submarine*
As Chalk goes to get another cup of tea, he notices that the teapot - in fact, the entire kitchen itself - is very gone, and very replaced by strange vending machine-looking objects. As he approaches one, it utters an extremely annoyingly happy greeting. "Hello! I am your all-in-one all-purpose vending machine. Just think about what you want and I'll get it for you!"
Meanwhile, Nejina is playing with the speaker system, and "Shake your booty" starts thundering throughout the entire ship for a few seconds, before hastily cutting off and being replaced by electronic silence. A few seconds later, this is followed by Nejina's clearer-than-real, amplified voice. "Well. That was awkward..."

Able to move again, Brandon rushes to Colonel-chama's side and scowls at Nejina. "NOBODY makes MY lady cry!" he shouts theatrically, taking Colonel-chama into his arms and hugging her protectively.
"Would you rather I had NOT beamed her up, and left her behind? Where you wouldn't stand a chance in hell of being within hug-range of her?" Nejina smirks. "You owe me one, boy. I'd quite like it if you made sure to...make up for it."

Nejina continues fiddling with the machinery, suddenly seeming motivated. "You have no opinion on this matter, I'm afraid. Mostly because you tried to escape our domain. We can't have that. As foolish as it might seem, this damn ship relies on the presence of all members in order to power its less ordinary functions...if you would've been left behind there, the thrusters would've disengaged at a height of 366m, and we would've come crashing back down again. Which wouldn't have been pretty. For any of us."
The array of buttons slowly start to shift themselves into a more glassy surface, like one enormous tablet covering the whole 3 square meters of the old control panel. Tapping the panel with her finger - the machines respond with an odd sound - Nejina finally turns around to face the others. "Now, we've managed to avoid that situation, and I've reworked the control system to something more modern and secure - locked to my fingerprints, of course." She opens her arms wide, and smiles. "Where shall we go?"
Choza stands up from her fallen position and blinks, just speechless about what's happening.

Chalk, staring at the machine, gets a deathly annoyed look on his face. Stomping back to the bridge, Chalk has the classic anime vein on his head as he hoists Nejina up by the collar.
"Take me to the kitchen. NOW."
With a somewhat annoyed look on her face, Nejina responds. "I'm afraid the kitchen is currently spread out in various parts of wall, circuitry and thruster unit housing, and thus not quite available at the moment. Unless you want to go downstairs and try frying something over the heat sinks, I mean. It might actually work. Stairs aren't open, so you'll have to let me go so I can input the necessary commands to the Core. Now, release me, would you kindly."
*Finished watching AT4W, when Penti-chan notices what's going on between Chalk and Nijina*

Chalk gives her a death glare, setting her down. He then proceeds to reach into his kimono, and pull out a small implement. He holds it to the console, and presses a button, causing it to buzz and glow. Putting it back in his outfit, a whirring noise occurs, and a door appears next to the console. Chalk goes through it, entering the new kitchen. -w-
Nejina lets out a sharp tsk and glares at the glass console. "Core, you are SUCH a two-timer."
"I do not remember you ever making me an option for such behavior, I'm afraid. I'm going to disregard that statement as banter."
*Brandon looks at SCAI-chan's post*
*Brandon does a slow head tilt/squint*
...Did I miss something here?
Nejina grumbles loudly. "That's Core. Or more specifically, Supreme Core Artificial Intelligence. She's VERY much undeserving of the 'supreme' part at the moment, though. If it weren't for the fact that I don't have anything else to do the calibration and calculation for this thing's movement patterns, I would've left her on the ground. In a leaking plastic bag." With a last glare at the console, Nejina stalks off toward the machinery room to vent some steam.
There's a new kitchen?
*Rushes in to make myself a bowl of popcorn and more tea*
"I wasn't talking to you, Nej - I was talking to this newbie who just showed up." Brandon points at SCAI-san again, and wonders why the others haven't noticed her presence.
Realizing that he's been holding Colonel-chama the entire time, and that she still hasn't stirred, Brandon decides to take DRASTIC MEASURES; propping up her temporarily-lifeless body in his arms, he leans down and kisses her on the lips. "Please wake up," he pleads quietly, a furious blush on his cheeks, "Otherwise I'll look like a total weirdo."
"Rest assured, young man, Nejina will be able to answer any questions you might have about me, as long as no code specifications are involved - she is very particular on keeping her methods confidential. And if you wish for assistance on the matter of the unconscious young lady you have there, I could provide quite sufficiently effective methods."
*Penti-chan frantically searches the cabinets of the kitchen; finding no tea*
Chalk calmly brews a pot of tea, producing a bag of the leaves from his sleeve. -w-
*Awaits the pot of tea to finish*
Brandon continues scowling at SCAI. "What sort of 'assistance'?" he questions, wondering if the strange newcomer might be able to help Colonel-chama.
Coming back into the room, Chalk proceeds to hand a cup of tea to Boris, then dump a cup down Colonel-chan's throat.
Choza just walks over to a chair and begins to read some ibooks, not sure what is going on and not sure if her sanity would be alright if she did know.
Chalk calmly sits and drinks his tea. -w-

"This level of voltage would provide sufficient shock to wake the young lady up, while being quite harmless to her nervous system. I would recommend it."
Speakers in the new kitchen flicker on. "Products of the sort you are consuming crumb easily. Crumbs on the floor have a tendency to make the cleaning units disengage their behavioral lock, and act in a manner that biological lifeforms normally refer to as 'going berserk'. As I wish to avoid that kind of situation aboard the ship, I must ask you to remove the products. Or, I will have to confiscate them. Thank you for your cooperation."
A waste bin folds out from the wall in the new kitchen.
Chalk, in response, once again produces the small cylindrical object from his robe. Holding it against the metallic wall, he pushes the button, activating the device. A panel appears, and opening, a small circular device comes out of the wall. It proceeds to drive toward the kitchen, sucking up all the dust and debris in the way. -w-
As the unit encounters the first cookie crumb, it stops. A second later, it starts to spin around, after which it proceeds to sprout arms and start dismantling every piece of equipment in the kitchen.
"She DID warn you," Nejina says with an audible sigh. "If there's one thing you can count on when it comes to AI's, it's that they are usually correct in their predictions. Not that I'd willingly put myself in that zapper, mind you," she says and eyes Brandon warily.
Getting sick of Nejina's interferences, Chalk gets up, removes the obi from his kimono, and proceeds to tie her up with it. Putting her in the chair, he puts a cookie in her mouth. ^^
Robe open to the breeze, Chalk confidently strolls into the kitchen and, taking the screwdriver again, shoves it into the robot's head, pushing the button. The resulting shock short-circuts the robot, and causes a brief power surge. Chalk then proceeds to begin re-assembling the kitchen.

Scowling, Nejina tears the obi apart and throws it into one of the annihilation rays - it promptly disappears.
Chalk, poking his head out of the kitchen, sees his obi ripped to shreds. Annoyed, he stomps out of the kitchen, screwdriver in hand (and robe still flapping in the breeze), and proceeds to calmly remove Nejina's shirt. He rips off both sleeves, then returns it to her. Tearing them open, he promptly screwdrivers them together, then uses his new shirt-obi to re-tie his robe. -w-
*opens one eye, looks around frantically*
It seems I'm paralyzed with fear at the moment. Brandon be a dear; stop ogling me and take my Stanley knife out of my skirt band.
"Oh, THAT, is just not OK, you know. Core, path."
Nejina snaps her fingers. The floor underneath Nejina turns into an elevator panel, that floats upward - a small hole opens in the roof, which closes after she has passed through.

*Retrieves a cake from the fridge in retalliation*
Chalk reaches into his robe and pulls out......
ANOTHER COOKIE
*Puts cookie on top of cake*
There's nothing saying you can't have both
The ship suddenly starts to rumble violently as the main engines come online. As the thrust goes into a sudden burst of acceleration, all sweets in the room are very splattered against the wall (aside from the cake, which very splatters in Penti's face) due to not being secured by the emergency straps that are now holding everyone in the main room in place.
A large monitor rolls down in the end of the room, where Nejina can be seen against a background of cockpit equipment and wearing an outfit suspiciously like those of the Glittering Crux, sans golden mask - and with a big smirk on her face.
"Well, passengers. It appears we are a tad off schedule, but I believe with this short burst of speed we should be able to catch up most of what we've lost. Our bearing is 240 degrees, west-southwest. We will be arriving at our destination in approximately 2 hours, timezone difference not included. Have a nice day."
Nejina's face disappears, and is replaced by a swirling mass of clouds - it appears to be the outward camera.
Brandon concludes that SCAI is a machine of HAL- or GLaDOS-like PURE EVIL when it gets rid of all the cookies. He briefly fantasizes about taking an axe to it before he becomes distracted by the discovery that Colonel-chama has woken up...

Watching the scene unfold (and sad at the loss of his last cookie), Chalk wonders how Colonel-chan ended up with a sonic KNIFE. :\ He pulls out his sonic screwdriver, and pressing it to the floor, activates it. A panel opens in the floor, and a blue Police Box ascends from within; When it reaches floor height an audible "ding" is heard, just as the doors on the box open. Chalk enters, and with a buzz and a "ding" the box descends into the floor once again.
Did I just see a TARDIS? Well, time to break out my magic bus
*Pulls out a remote and presses the button on it; causing a magic bus to appear. Penti-chan quickly gets inside and sets off; as it disappears from the ship*
Now, to figure out where everybody else is going...
Various vehicles leave the immediate airspace of the flying house. Within seconds, however, the process goes back in reverse as a large, black sphere appears in front of the odd assembly, and absorbs them all with an intensely vibrating wave of bass.

Suddenly, the floor breaks in a very spectacular way. Everyone falls down in a most surprised manner, but end up very spread out across the mirror floor.
Nejina, her instincts sharpened, manages to avoid getting beneath anyone. At the sight of the mirror floor she is very happy not to be wearing a skirt at the moment. She then starts to feel like something is a bit off with the situation. "Eh." She manages. "What the fuck?" Follows shortly. Her memory doesn't seem to understand what she's all confused about, however, aside from the very spectacular manner the floor broke in, and so she merely puts on a pout and starts plucking on her shirt collar.
Chalk, in the TARDIVATOR, feels the impending crash as a medium-sized jolt and the stopping of the TARDIVATOR. Confused, he uses his sonic screwdriver to open the doors, landing him halfway above and half below the floor. Not knowing what to do, he surveys his surroundings. Up above, he spies Nejina, which he attributes to the crash. In his annoyance, he seeks revenge, and spying that she's wearing a skirt, he looks across to the reflection on the floor. He snickers.
"Shimapantsu."
Nejina frowns. "What the hell are you seeing, man? I'm wearing trousers, firstly, and secondly, no, no stripes. And what he hell is that thing dissolving into thin air behind you?" She points to the swiftly disappearing sight of the elevator-like object that is silently fading away behind Chalk's frame.
*Penti-chan steps out of the magic bus in a slight daze from slamming into the wall; failing to notice the mirror floor and that she's still wearing a frilly maid costume*

As Krausia jumps off, the entire scenery seems to cringe. When she returns the surroundings are wobbly and indeterminate, and when she fires at the floor, it reacts slowly.
"Hey! Why did you have to do that-" Nejina is cut off by the sound of something like glass - but not quite glass - breaking, and everything goes out in flashes of black and white.

I believe I told you...somewhere, sometime...that the function of this place needs us all to be in place, no? Well, bad news. It's enforcing that rule, by the only means we can't escape..."

Krausia was having a flash back, she had previously fought in the Battle of Khe Sanh and hadn't shaken off the horrors that she witnessed in the swamps surrounding Khe Sanh.
"Uh, mam, your currently not in Khe Sanh..."
"BULLSHIT, THE F--K'N G--KS ARE TRYING TO GET ME!"
Krausia continued to fire her rifle into the darkness around her, unaware of everyone around her.

As she responds, Nejina's image and sound seem to hack - like a rasped cd - and her movements are glitchy.

Chalk, no longer amused with the situation, retreats to the destroyed kitchen. He somehow manages to make yet another cup of tea, and taking it, retreats to his room to draw.
Nejina scowls angrily at Chalk as he leaves, and yells after him after he closes the door.
"Oh thanks, man. Great job breaking that one chance of testing out the one theory to get us out of here. Really, man, I appreciate it so much."
She then produces and puts on a pair of glasses (blank lens due to 1.2+ vision), as well as a rotting cranium of an indeterminate specie, which she throws violently at the door.
Of course I do, that's my job!

Nejina points in the direction of the entrance hall. "Now. Our first problem is that door. We will likely need to bust it open, along with some of the wall, in order for us to be able to exit in a sufficiently simultaneous manner that the loop doesn't trigger. And for that, we need firepower. So someone lob a fucking grenade or something so we can get started, eh?"
She looks around at the various members, particularly those toting various militaria, expecting reaction.

As the train leaves the station, visuals start to blend into each other - 50 meters further ahead on the tracks, everything freezes. The sound of glass crackling can be heard in the distance, but this time it's not just the floor - every single bit of air seems to be on the verge of breaking. A second later, a clear tone - like when you tap a glass with a spoon - pierces the air, and everything shatters.

The pieces of broken images fall to the floor and dissipate. The party is once again together, yet with positions maintained - Chalk is a few meters off, holding a dissolving pencil, Colonel and Brandon is a few meters off in another direction, sitting on chairs that just ceased to exist. The rest of the party is very tightly pressed together - Nejina pushes her way out of the throng and heaves a breath. "You just bloody had to do that, didn't you!?" she yells frustratedly at Brandon and Colonel. As she looks around at their surroundings, however, her eyes widen. "I...where...why...Oh, blood. This had better not be what I think it is."
The floor looks like a psychedelically twisted chessboard, checkered in black and white and dotted with transparent panes of what seems to be glass - through them, seemingly endless layers of the same kind of landscapes are visible below. The sky looks like the surface of a jar of black paint that someone has gone at with a white paint sprayer - in the place of clouds, what seem like monochrome graffiti in some undecipherable tongue swim through the air. Nejina groans loudly and sits down on the ground, shaking her head.
If it's a north bound train it should. *fidgets, barely concealing glee of being on a vintage subway car* I wanna try the Mattapan Loop later too! After we see your precious, precious Institute of Technology. Let's see, HCKKC-PW in reverse means we'll pass Washington-UC then Charles before we get to Kendell.
*straightens up, looks around car full of disinterested commuters*

Chalk rolls in his sleep, having a very violent dream involving time loops and alternate dimensions.....and lots of references to Dr. Who. He unconsciously cuddles his Vincent plushie closer.
Watching all this Doctor Who gave me an idea...

On the platform, A Certain Demon Overlord is standing. He seems a bit confused as to what's going on, but he's carefully monitoring the oncoming train. He sighs and looks at his watch. "Damnit, she was supposed to have been here by now...aah, all this traveling is making me edgy." He opens up a map of the Boston subway system, and reads it thoroughly, not taking a single care for his surroundings.
*Penti-chan searched the ground all about. But found nothing*
Well, so much for building a time machine...

The Demon Overlord dismisses his stray thoughts, focusing on the matter at hand. "Splendid. At least I've come to the right place, then...even if she hasn't."
He gives the helpful man a curious look. "I suppose I'll look into the matter of you when I have the time. For now, however, some gratitude is in order. Thank you." After a slight delay, and with some hesitation, he then adds, "You don't suppose you could...tell me, more exactly, where and when you last saw her? People and cities tend to have a needles-and-haystacks relationship, and I would much like any sort of clue to where she could be."
*Successfully gets the PSP portion of the portable TV functioning again, but the battery isn't powerful enough to support it*
*Attempts to supercharge the battery for my portable TV \ PSP combo by using static electricity generated from a pair of gym socks I found stuck to the back of my maid costume for unknown reasons*

Penti-chan wonders into the room in a slight daze; trying to piece together what just happened earlier. She remembers something about being trapped in an alternate dimension with everybody else, as well as getting badly electrocuted from trying to recharge the batteries on her PSP, but not of how she escaped...or why she was now wearing a sailor fuku instead of her usual maid costume.
However, she quickly disregarded it when she saw a plate of cookies; gladly taking one

After finishing the cookie, Penti-chan looked out the window to find that it had started to rain. A nice, slow rain, to be precise, which was more than welcome

hearing the rain, however, soothes Chalk's troubled mind. He shuffles off to the kitchen to make another cup of tea. -w-

Nejina is wearing a long, radiantly white labcoat and a pair of glasses. She is messing around with electromagnets, a circuit board and what seems to be a magpie wearing a silver tie.
Chalk freezes up, gripping the mug tightly. His eyes dart about the kitchen, as he slowly adds the sugar.
*wriggles free*
I have t-to m-make tea! And m-make sure I d-don't need to auto-c-correct reality again.
I have a bad feeling about what Nejina is doing...
"What? Magpies are the smartest non-mammal on the planet. Isn't that right, Cawl?"
The magpie makes a sound, then pokes some points of the circuitboard with its beak. "What, that's the alpha course? Tell me earlier next time!" Nejina adds frustratedly to the bird.
*brings teapot from kitchen*
N-No need to be c-concerned P-Pentium, I'm sure Nej k-knows what she's d-doing. And th-the Magpie too.
The magpie caws. Then opens its beak.
"Of course I do."
The slight tremors caused by the bass of the deeeeep voice cause the circuitboard to shake, and the magpie goes back to its work.
Chalk adds the bag to the cup, pouring tap water over it. he briefly stirs it, then puts it in the microwave. turning to wait, he gives a suspicious stare to nejina and her magpie. >_>;
So mesmerized by the magpie was Brandon that he let Colonel-chan escape. Realizing his mistake, he sets off to find her again.
"There you are!" he calls, spotting the girl carrying a teapot.
"Ok, that voice was creepy..." said Penti-chan; in response to the magpie
Retrieving his tea from the microwave, Chalk adds the milk and fetches a pack of ginger cookies, retreating to the living room to sit and enjoy. He dips a cookie, attempting to enjoy some peace while anticipating the coming chaos.
He stares out in he kitchen, glancing at Brendon near-molesting his girl. Chalk wonders if he should have tried the loose leaf tea.
*gives Brendon death glare*
I am serving Pentium. His tea. Wait a minute.
Sensing the tension in the room, Chalk slowly takes a sip, eyes shifting across the room.
"Um, Miss Colonel...I'm a girl" Penti-chan said, with a look of confusion on her face
Chalk snickers at the confusion. -w-
Her tea.
*offers a cup without skipping a beat*
"Thanks!" she said, happily taking the cup
Chalk finishes his tea, then eagerly holds out his cup for some of the tea Sage-chan made. ^^

Chalk takes a sip, quickly gulping it down and tearing up due to the heat. After the initial shock, however, Chalk happily smiles at Sage, expressing his gratitude. ^^

The magpie promptly lifts off from its spot, and lands on Sage's. "'ello. Be a dear and carry some o' that to big N over there, would you. I would, but these claws promptly suck at holding teacups level while carrying them, and non-spilled tea tastes better than spilled. So, deal?"
After finishing her cup of tea, thanking Colonel once more for it, Penti-chan proceeded to balance the empty cup on her head; just to see how long she can keep it up there before it falls
Chalk sips his tea, then places it on the side table. He proceeds to return to his room, bringing back his laptop, Ydeeps, with him. He plugs Ydeeps into the wall, starting him up as he takes another sip.
That's th-the good china P-Pentium, p-please be c-careful with it.
*hands Brandon a cup with a smile, hands Nejina a cup*

After balancing the cup on her head for most of the afternoon, Penti-chan carefully grabbed the cup and gently brought it back down.
"That has to be a new personal record" she said with a goofy grin; holding the cup out to Colonel for a refill
Chalk enters his password, then dunks and bites a cookie as he waits for the computer to settle down.
He turns to Penti and Sage, giving them a confused look as to why the good china is out and being balanced on people's heads. :\

Penti-chan attempted to watch Atop the Fourth Wall, only to remember that Atanos can't handle HD video and her other laptop, Igasa, is charging at the moment. So, she decided to work more on a short story she would post soon; one that, while silly, also helps to further develop the relationship between Yendor and 2k-kun
Chalk sees the fanfiction and quietly giggles. Ah, Fanfiction. -w-

"Oh cool! Curses!" she said, taking the DVD and popping it into the disc drive of Atanos...only to remember he can only read CDs. Thus, Penti-chan leaves the room to watch it on 2k-kun the Desktop
Chalk, in his travels, finds a gif of a cat stealing a cookie. He tugs on Sage's sleeve to show her, in the process nabbing another cookie. :3
A loud, buzzing noise has started emanating throughout the room. Nejina seems satisfied at the result and pets the magpie on the head, before downing the tea in one gulp and shutting the case of the circuitboard. "Where were we, now...?"
Chalk gives a curious stare to Nejina's work. He is surprised to learn that Nejina has created an internet-enabled Furby. o__o;
Wait, why d-does the c-cat want a c-cookie; I d-didn't think th-they really liked c-cookies?
After finishing the episode of AT4W, along with her cup of tea, Penti-chan returns to the room where everybody else is.
"That episode was awesome!" she said in an excited tone; her inner Linkara fangirl slipping through for a second
The magpie squawks. "Only chocolate chip." It then proceeds to nab a cookie and fly off.
Chalk shrugs at Sage's question, proceeding to browse more pictures. He takes another sip, only to find he is out of tea. A sad expression comes over Chalk's face as he stares at the empty mug. :[
Since nothing seemed to be going on at the moment, Penti-chan proceeded to put on a pair of headphones and began listening to the Disgaea soundtrack
*refills Chalk's mug one more time*
Th-That's it I'm afraid, until I m-make m-more. B-But I have to g-go f-fret f-for a little while f-first....
Chalk's eyes mist and glisten in true anime-style appriciation. He swiftly gulps some down, regretting doing so due to the heat.
While lounging on the couch, listening to her iPod, Penti-chan suddenly got up dramatically and began dancing down the hall singing about a "master ninja theme song"; much to the confusion of everybody else in the room
Chalk gives her a weird look, prompting him to search around in his yukata for his ipod. finding it, he slips on the (magnet)headphones, turning it on full-blast. the faint beat of techno resonates throughout the room.
After that moment of weirdness from earlier, Penti-chan returned to the living room; kindly asking Colonel for some more tea when it's ready, before sitting down with Atanos to begin working more on her stories
Chalk surfs to check out some dollfie figures. after drooling over them for a few seconds, Chalk realizes how he looks, and quickly navigates away so he's not seen as a perv. .////.;
The humming noises are starting to change, which Nejina doesn't seem all too happy about. After a few quick tantrums thrown, this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Diu2N8TGKA&feature=related) starts looping at quite a loud volume from something that most definitely is not supposed to be a speaker set. She lets out a sigh and keeps on working, whilst the magpie produces a hat and monocle and cane and starts prancing about.
Chalk attempts to turn up his music, only to find that it's up all the way. Chalk settles into his chair, taking a sip of his tea and gaining the expression of a wet cat.
Having her concentration on writing disrupted by the loud noise, Penti-chan proceeded to reach behind the couch and pull out some earplugs; quickly equipping them before returning to writing
Chalk misses the peace and quiet from when he woke up. He contemplates going back into his room. :\
Annoyed by the noise, Penti-chan got up and walked over to the table where the thing that is most certainly not a speaker set but is still emitting loud music. She then proceeded to pick up everything that was emitting that sound and moved it into the nearby closet; as they where now muffled by the thick, heavy coats.
"That's better..." she said; finally able to return to writing her story without needing the earplugs
Chalk gives Penti-chan the Rock Lee style thumbs-up and grin, indicating a job well done. 8)
*returns from the kitchen with a plate of various sandwiches*
No m-more tea f-for now, but lunch is served whenever y-you're ready.
Nejina gets angry at the disruption in her workflow. "HEY! I was working on that!" She promptly takes the equipment out of the closet and places it back on the workbench.
Just as she does, however, the music cuts out and is replaced by an obviously synthetic voice that proclaims, "Rule applied: Gravity will be changed a total of 180 degrees."
A few seconds later, the room spins around, and everything that's not furniture crashes to the roof - which is now the floor.
After the shock of being suddenly slammed into the ceiling, Penti-chan got back up; disappointed to find that the plate of sandwiches that Colonel had made was now scattered across the floor. Starving, she carefully makes her way to the kitchen to see if maybe the cookie jar is still intact...
Angered that his laptop has been carelessly dumped on the celing floor, Chalk proceeds to stomp over to the offending speaker-object and stomp on it with his geta. He then goes to Sage, helping her up, and inspects the sandwiches to see if there are any he likes. Finding among them a peanutbutter and jelly, he picks it up, heavily brushes it off, and begins to munch it.
He then notices his mug of tea has been smashed. Quickly scooping up his laptop, Chalk places it away from the spill and goes to the kitchen for a towel and a dustpan.
The circuitboard isn't exactly affected by being stomped on, nor does it crack in any visible way. What it DOES do, however, is start crying in an extremely obnoxious way, and locally shift its own gravity to shunt it back to the floor (ceiling), safely out of reach for attempts on its life.
The kitchen is, perhaps not so surprisingly, also upside-down. And unfortunately, the high ceiling makes every single handle, door or cupboard very much out of reach.
Nejina is grumbling vividly about something, and gesturing angrily at the circuitboard. The magpie, however, is very confused by things at the moment, due to not being flipped - as such, it looks like it is flying upside-down, a few decimeters above the headline of the collective populace. "Well, that's screwed schmewed, alright."
Chalk, annoyed by the goings on, manages to reach a towel, going back to the living room to clean up the mess. Forgetting the dustpan, however, he accidentally cuts his finger on the shattered mug. He winces, putting the offending digit into his mouth as he continues to clean up the mess.
Upon realizing how high the ceiling in the house is, being completely unable to reach the cookies, Penti-chan fell to her knees and shook her right fist in the air, yelling "Damn you, Nejina!" in frustration
Hearing Penti's frusteration, Chalk goes back to the kitchen to help. He takes a horse stance, then lands a hard kick on the wall, shaking the windows slightly. The cookie jar falls in her lap like a coconut.
Chalk proceeds to nab a small trashcan from his room, bringing it out to the living room to pick up the pieces of the mug.
Resisting the urge to squee like a fangirl over Chalk's awesomeness, Penti-chan took a chocolate chip cookie from the jar...and ate it!
Chalk sadly places the pieces of his favourite mug in the trash. Putting in the last piece, he gives an angry glare to the box on the celing, then getting up and moving the trash can into his room.
He returns to the kitchen, reaching up and opening the cabinet, forgetting that the rest of the objects were inverted along with all of them, resulting in a pile of broken pottery showering down over Chalk's head. ><; Out of all of them, a plastic mug falls and clatters on the floor, nested in the shards. Chalk carefully picks it up, moving it out of the way as he goes to fetch a dustpan for the broken mugs.
*Colonel-chan floats by with a broom and dust pan, not exactly pleased*
D-Don't worry Chalk, I'll t-take c-care of this m-mess! Not quite sure what happened, certainly no one was messing with the fabric of reality in my house. Again.
Chalk sweeps up some, hoping to help as much as he can. After dumping the shards in the trash, he proceeds to the cabinet with the tea, opening it to have a pile of boxed goods such as tea, crackers, and ginger cookies fall in his head. He pushes the ensuing clutter to one side, picking out the box of tea and a box of sugar packets. he takes the two over to the mug.
Realizing that he can't make tea without water, Chalk thinks for a moment on how to reach the sink, which is just barely out of his grasp. He spots some rubber bands hanging off a cabinet, and takes one. He goes to reach for the junk drawer, only to realize what would be pouring out on his head that time. Narrowly avoiding injury from the mugs, Chalk decides he doesn't want tacks, batteries, and old nails falling on his head. He begins to search the house for some string or cord to use in place of what's in the junk drawer.
"I think I'm going to step out of the way before something falls on me..." Penti-chan said, getting back up and slowly making her way out of the kitchen
Chalk begins studying the ladies in the room, hoping to find a hair ribbon among them.
Failing, he goes to Nejina's workstation, looking for a spare cable.
*drifts into the living room with bag of cleaned up kitchen mess*
Y-You need a ribbon, Chalk? Oh Nejina d-dear, why's m-my house upside-down?
"Your house is upside down because this bloody thing refuses to cooperate with me." She points vividly at her workstation that's nested on the floor-turned-roof, and the oddly shaped circuitboard upon it. "And in case you're wondering, it's not a circuitboard at all. Holographics. But that shape lets me work on the settings easier...not that it helps," she mutters off. She stalks off to find herself a ladder.
"I'll be in my room. Wake me up when everything is back to normal..." Penti-chan said, before heading back down the hall to her room...only to find the door nob can't be reached thanks to Nejina turning the house upside down.
"It's not gonna go back on its own, damnit...that's why I was working the damn thing to start with!"
Chalk walks over to Sage, taking a ribbon from her hair. Tying it to the rubber band, Chalk begins to twirl it, tossing it up to the faucet. Missing, he tries again, hooking it on the cold side the second try. he gives it a tug, holding the plastic mug underneath to catch some water, tugging it hard the other way after he's done.
He puts the tea and sugar in, reaching up to open the microwave. He puts it in and stands on tiptoes to reach all the buttons.
While letting his tea nuke, he goes up to Nejina, scooping her up. He puts her on his shoulders, going over to the control panel.
"Good thought. However, the two of us do not sum up to a total of 6 meters in length, which is what we need to reach that thing. And the remote is, sadly, broken."
Nejina remains on Chalk's shoulders, however, thinking. Then, dashing to action, she jumps down toward the roof-floor headfirst. Unexpectedly for everyone else, the fall is broken short just before shattering her skull, and she starts falling the other way.
After half a second of shrill screaming, she lands on the sofa. It cracks audibly, but ensures the safety of her own buttocks. "Ok. Ok. That. Was. Blind luck, and scary as hell. Eeeeh. You might not want to do that again, the damn thing has probably turned off that setting now to see if it can trick you into smashing your head. I'll - see what I can do."
Chalk gives her a stern thumbs-up, then goes to retrieve his tea.
"Did somebody say tea?" Penti-chan said; walking into the room
Chalk notes this, going to another cabinet and opening it to an avalanche of cups. Letting the plastic ones fall to the floor, he does his best to break the fall of the glass ones, managing somehow to get them all. He proceeds to put a teabag and sugar in, tugging on the dangling ribbon for the water, retrieving his mug from the microwave as he puts the glass in.
He looks at Penti-chan, motioning to the microwave as he sips his new tea.
Jumping up to hit the button on the microwave, Penti-chan sits back and waits for it to heat up; wishing she could get into her room, where her PSP is
Chalk sips his tea, waiting for something to happen.
Noticing that her tea was ready, Penti-chan grabbed the nearby footstool to reach the microwave...and, upon getting up high enough to reach it, felt herself being lifted off her feet and pulled toward the ceiling.
"Oh crap!" she said with a terrified squeal; as she had a very rough landing on the cold tile ceiling-floor. Getting back onto her feet, she dusted herself off and retrieved her tea from the microwave; making note of the weirdness of seeing everybody else, with the exception of Nejina, walking on the ceiling
"Alright, good to see that worked," Nejina exclaims as she sees Penti fall back to the floor. "The rest is gonna be tricky, though, that was sheer balance flip..." She returns to mumbling and screwing around with the board.
Chalk gulps down the remainder of his tea. Going to the living room, he retrieves his laptop, handing it to Penti. He then hunkers down, and jumps as high as he can, extending his arms to break his fall somewhat. He flips and falls on his back.
Wincing, he takes back his laptop, and re-settles in his chair with it.
"It looks like more of us are returning to the proper floor..." Penti-chan said, before taking a sip of her tea
Chalk gives a look to Sage, motioning her to come up to the floor.
Looking up at the ceiling, Penti-chan can't help but notice that she accidentally left Atanos up there. Because she doesn't want to go back up there, she attempts to signal Colonel to bring it down with her
Chalk is confused as to whether Penti is copying his posting style.
Deciding to pay it no mind, he turns back to his comptuter, to post on OSC about the situation.

Hey Nejina; is reading minds a normal side-effect of returning from reversed gravity?
Chalk concentrates EXCRUCIATINGLY HARD............but nothing happens. Chalk guesses it must be a coincidence that Penti figured out what he was thinking.
"No, it's a side effect of this stupid board trying to read my mind so it can counter my efforts to normalize gravity. I reapplied the connection."
Chalk looks at the box/board thing. He picks up a lamp, and aims..........
but feels bad for the lamp so he puts it back down.
"That'd probably just make it angrier, so I'd appreciate if you let off. Besides, you might hit me."
Chalk gives Nejina an annoyed look for doubting his aim. Turning back to his computer, he proceeds to load Dungeons & Dungeons on the [as] website.
Because of how long it's taking Colonel to bring down Atanos, Penti-chan heads down the hall to her room to retrieve her creatively-named laptop, Laptop; since Igasa is still charging
Chalk wonders if he can network with the others to play a game. :3
Wait, I'm supposed to b-be b-bringing what now?
"Stuff that's still stuck on the roof. Or, wait...hold on to something, girl! This might be a bit rough."
Nejina presses a button. For an instant, the roof-floor and the floor phase into each other, with the Colonel being on both places at the same time; a second later, Sage is back on the ground.
"Ok. All down?"
Noticing that her trusted iBook, Atanos, had returned from the ceiling, Penti-chan happily takes it and goes online; since Igasa is still charging and Laptop wasn't wanting to work right.
Ah ha. Y-Yes, it seems to b-be. Now, I have a d-doctor's appointment to g-get to so if y-you ladies will excuse me...
Waving to Colonel as she leaves, Penti-chan resumes work on her latest short story; which she feels is going to be the best of the trilogy
Chalk looks up, confused. His head darts around like a startled cat, slowly sinking back down into place.
After putting the finishing touches on the story she was writing, Penti-chan closed her laptop and went to the kitchen to make another cup of tea
Chalk stares intently at his computer. he notices that it has frozen. Chalk angrily begins pressing ctrl+shift+esc. ><;
After returning to the couch, with tea in hand, Penti-chan sits down to enjoy the peace and quiet
Chalk holds in his anger, knowing better than to take it out on Ydeeps. He reboots and logs in, immediately opening a game of Taipei to rid himself of some frustration.
Feeling hungry, Penti-chan set off to the kitchen on a mission: a mission to make herself an epic sandwich
Brandon waits for Colonel-chan to return from the doctor's, all the while worrying that she is sick. ;.;
Chalk places a reassuring hand on Brandon's Shoulder, giving him a look of "everything's cool." =w=
Finding some sub buns in the cabinet, Penti-chan takes one down and proceeds to cut it open, before going to the fridge to find stuff to put on it; hoping somebody remembered to stock up on her personal favorite, roast beef.
Ydeeps bursts into flames. Chalk immediately stands up, the laptop clattering to the floor in a small blaze. Chalk runs to the kitchen, returning with a damp towel that he tosses onto the burning keyboard. This method proving only slightly effective, He repeats this several times in an attempt to kill it with water.
After finding everything she needed in the fridge, Penti-chan finished assembly of her roast beef sub sandwich, before calmly walking outside to relax in the lush green grass of the backyard and have a picnic...as the fire alarm went off inside the house; complete with strobe lights and a really annoying buzzing sound.
Putting out the fire, Chalk hugs the charred remains of Ydeeps to his chest.
"I'm supposed to be monopolizing explosions here..." Nejina mutters while working.
After finishing that awesome sandwich, and noticing that the fire alarms had stopped, Penti-chan returns into the house; quickly noticing Chalk hugging the charred remains of Ydeeps.
In an effort to make him feel better, she walked over with a plate of cookies and a freshly-made pot of tea and offered some. "It's dangerous to go alone. Take this!", she said with a smile
Chalk tearfully takes and noms a cookie, nodding in appriciation.
He looks over the burnt toast that was his PC. On a whim, he presses the button to turn it on, and it slowly whirrs to life.
Making herself comfortable on the couch, Penti-chan poured herself a cup of tea. "Gee, it sure is boring around here..." she said in a goofy tone
"You're neither a warrior nor a blonde nor wielding a sword or shield of any kind nor elven-eary, so stop it with the lines, miss." Nejina keeps working.
"Well
excuse me, princess..." she said...before realizing that she was starting to talk using only annoying quotes that vaguely fit the current situation. In a hurry, she grabs a small dry erase board and a marker and writes out a message:

A large belching sound erupt from within the circuitry, and Nejina exclaims a loud, high-pitched curse - as wheezing sound accompanies the arrival of a large gas cloud that instantly permeates the air of the room. A tad too high-pitched, in fact.
"Ok," Nejina starts, but the sound of her voice is squeaky, splintered and off. "No need to worry, that was just helium. Lots of it. Look at it this way, now we won't have to worry about sounding silly anymore because we will all be. Try singing a song like this, it's raving mad.
"The bad part is that I have absolutely no good theory on where it came from, and the only one I do have involves a fusion reactor that's not quite stable at the moment. Which isn't good. At all. So I'll just keep up." She returns to frantically working the equipment.
"I sound like a chipmunk now...wait; I'm not using those quotes now! YAY! Thank you, Nejina!" Penti-chan said, in a noticeably higher-pitched voice because of the helium
She then finds the compelling urge to sing...but, not wanting to annoy everybody else, she decides to run off to her room to dig out her PSP
"Incidentally, helium doesn't actually pitch the main tone of your voice," Nejina squeaks helpfully. "I did a report on this once. It just splinters up your overtones and increases their amplitude, so the high-pitched overtones sound more pronounced."
"So that's how it works..." Penti-chan said, peeking out of her room; still hunting for the lost PSP
"Interesting." Chalk says in a rich, deep voice. 8)
"Wait...how does it make his voice deeper and more manly, yet make mine all squeaky?" Penti-chan said with a squeak, confused as to how that works. "Regardless of how it works, his voice is...kind of hot, actually. I never though I'd say that, to be honest"
Chalk, amused with the soulful sound of his voice, begins to sing.

Amused by the Rickroll, Penti-chan sat down on the couch to start playing Persona 2; which she had just recently bought.
Chalk is slightly shocked to find himself saying so much all of a sudden. "Must be the damn helium...." he mutters. Trying to save face, he quickly snatches up an issue of Time magazine and buries himself in it.
While playing Persona 2, Penti-chan was overcome with a strange urge she has never felt before...an urge to watch My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Trying to resist, she continues playing the game; not wanting to become a brony
Chalk turns on the tv. MLP has just ended; Jem is coming on. :3 Chalk grins at the sight of one of his favourite shows. ^^
Upon hearing the theme song to Jem, Penti-chan pauses her game and begins watching; feeling nostalgic in the process, as she used to force her older brother to watch this show
Chalk gets so into the show, he sings along to the theme song. However, due to the helium still in the air, it comes out more barry white than madonna. Chalk quiets down in slight embarassment to this, forgetting his voice situation.
A wrongly pressed button leads to weird things happening with the heliums in the air. "Well, this is not what it was supposed to-"
Bright lights shine on and on and on and on and on. And when they stop and everyone have regained their senses...

Chalk wakes up from that pony-induced nightmare groggy and cranky. Though he is not happy to be here, on behaf of Boris he will suck it up.
A young man with glasses and long brown hair wakes up. He has no idea how long he's been asleep, or why - the lack of memory deeply unsettles him, along with the fact that he's seemingly alone. Rolling off the couch, he exits the room and hesitantly creeps down a hallway, racking his mind for any recollections of his location. He sees a light shining from under the door of another room; slowly pushing it open, he is relieved to see a familiar person inside. "Chalk!" he cries, the name of his friend coming back to him as he pulls him into a hug, "It's so good to see you here -- do you know what happened ... ? Have you found any of the others?"
Chalk seems to have retained the voice from before the dream-skip. He hugs Boris. "No one's here," Chalk says in his Barry-White-like voice, "but we can look."
Penti-chan woke up in a daze, lying on the floor of her room; wondering what, exactly, was in the tea she drank which caused a dream about all her friends turning into ponies, and also what happened to result in a change of appearance; now having shoulder-length brown hair, and was wearing a snug-fitting plain green t-shirt with a miniskirt of a slightly darker shade of green, a pair of ankle-cut dark blue socks, her usual pair of glasses, and a set of Pentium earrings.
Confused as to why she was in her room, and why exactly her room was so messy, she sat up and left to room to try and find out where everybody else is...
Chalk spots Penti. "Over here," he says in the chocolate rain voice. >w>
Recognizing the voice of the person whom she considered like a little brother, Penti came running down the hall to see what was up; finding Boris was also waiting with Chalk
"So, any idea on what's going on?"
"Not a clue." Chalk responds, looking around. "Seems like it's just us."
"Hopefully everybody else is fine..." Penti said, sounding worried. "Wherever they may be"
Chalk looks around, confused. "We've lost Boris."
Boris is relieved to see Penti, but a dark cloud of worry soon gathers in his mind. Breaking away from the group, he begins hunting the house for his two other dear companions - the girl he called Colonel-chan, and that tall blonde gal, Nejina.
"I think we should try to find him" Penti suggested. "It's better we stick together than risk getting separated like this again"
Boris starts to become disheartened as his search for Colonel-chama and Nejina continues, to no avail.
Chalk puts a hand on Boris' shoulder. "They're gone." He says with a sigh. Looking up stoically, he continues, "But we're here. So let's figure out something to do."
"We could play some LittleBigPlanet. I have enough controller to go around" Penti said; gesturing toward her room, where her PS3 is setup
"I appreciate the sentiment, Chalk... but I'm not gonna give up looking for them yet." Bidding them adieu, he continues his hunt.
"He is determined to find them" Penti said; stating the obvious. "So, should we help her, or just play some Mario Kart?"
Chalk shakes his head at Boris, both in respect for his drive and in pity for his stubbornness.
Chalk nods in the direction of Boris, indicating they should follow.
Penti nods in agreement, before chasing after Boris. "If you're going to look for them, you should at least have some help" She said with a smile
L-Looking f-for who now?
-is standing in the doorway with a soup ladle in hand-
Boris barely believes his eyes when he sees Colonel-chama standing in the kitchen doorway. Releasing a girlish squee of delight unbecoming of his sex, he bounds toward the woman; he nearly hugs her out of reflex, but notices the full ladle in her hand. Instead he settles for patting her on the shoulder.
"It's really good to see you - I was starting to think I'd never find you!" He gives a chuckle of relief and blushes slightly, adding, "do you mind if I try the soup, please? I'm feeling famished."
"Yay! We found Colonel-chan!" Penti said in excitement, before taking notice of the smell of a freshly-made soup. "I smell soup...I can has?"
Of c-course y-you c-can! I... was in the k-kitchen.... y-you honestly d-didn't think to l-look there?
Grateful for Colonel-chama's kindness, Boris walks into the kitchen after her and grabs a bowl and spoon. "I thought to look in the kitchen, but I couldn't find it - this place is disturbingly big." A memory of Nejina's strange space-time experiment creeps into Boris' mind; he wonders if she might have something to do with the home's sprawling, confusing layout and their current strange situation.
The freezer door bursts open, almost flying off its hinges. Out flies a very small girl in a light blue dress and hair - and blue just about everything else, too. She doesn't even crash to the ground before rebounding, however - as she connects with the opposite wall, she kicks off to launch herself back, flying straight toward the open freezer like a wailing banshee.
Except, she's not wailing. She's yelling. "THAT WAS DAMN RUDE OF YER!" Then she pops through the freezer door with a sizzling sound, and is gone.
All trace that is left of her is a slightly chilly air in the room, and pair of footsteps in frost on the wall.
"What the hell was that?" Penti said with a slight shriek
Boris startles violently, nearly dropping his soup-bowl. "I ... really have no idea ..." he replies to Penti, his mouth still agape. "Maybe there's some sort of wormhole in the freezer? Whatever it is, I don't think I'll be opening that door any time soon... even if I am curious to see what's behind it."
"I'm not sure...if there is, maybe Nejina is in there?"
The freezer door is promptly impaled from the inside by a giant icicle, and then shatters with it into small, frosty pieces onto the floor. The icicle, however, wasn't quite as devoid of other objects as the door - a tall, fit girl in a square-pattern shirt, suspenders and a very long blonde ponytail lands with a heavy thump on the floor. Briefly, she manages to look up from the floor. "H'aw...shucks," she manages before passing out.
Chalk nudges the frozen newcomer with his foot. Receiving no response, he picks up the new girl and plops her in a chair at the kitchen table.
Chalk turns to Colonel-chan. Smiling, he picks her up in a hug. Upon setting her down, he gets two bowls, and fills them with soup. He sits down with one, setting the other in front of the new girl, but far enough away that she would not drown in it were she to fall over.
Penti makes herself a bowl of soup, before sitting down. "So, does anybody recognize the new girl?"
Chalk tilts his head when looking at her, then looks back to Penti and shakes his head. Instead, he focuses his attentions on the delicious-looking soup. ^^
Boris turns his attention to the newcomer - she looks awfully familiar, yet there is something slightly off about her. "Nejina...?" he asks, giving her a small poke in the shoulder, "Is that you?"
Chalk leans in for the response, being careful to not get his yukata in the soup.
The girl stirs briefly upon being poked. Her eyes flutter open for a bit. She slurs a bit while speaking. "Wh...whaer's mah hat?"
A second later, her eyes burst wide open and she springs up, looks around and promptly jumps into the now doorless freezer, yelling loudly. "GIMME BACK MAH HAT YOU CONNIN' PIECE OF-"
The sound cuts as she moves through, but a distinct smell of grass wafts through the air from the freezer's open frame.
"Ok..." Penti said in a confused tone. "Anybody up for following her?"
Chalk knows where this is going, and angrily returns to his soup.
A Disembodied Voice speaks up in Chalk's head. It is most likely female.
"Trust me, sir, that is not the case. And either way, the passageway has been opened. There is little any of you can do save wait, lest you try seal it."
Chalk finishes his soup. Grumbing, he downs the mysterious girl's soup, and proceeds to walk through the freezer.
On the other side of the freezer, a vast field of grass, intermingled at some points with sunflowers, spreads out. A girl - or at least, a somewhat wobbly, monochrome image of her head, a projection of some sort - awaits. She has short hair and a very peculiar accessory of a heart-adorned headband, connected by some cord-like string to a sphere of some sort. "Yes," she says - her voice is the same as the Disembodied Voice. "Good. I would have sent one of my pets to accompany you - or possibly the woman you seek - but they have been little but trouble lately. This projection is losing its power - I do not normally work over distances, see. You shall be on your own, shortly. The girls you met are through paths within, or possibly through a passageway; the woman you seek is through another few passageways. One of the girls should be able to find the passageways. Convincing them may or may not take effort, but you may need it. Is there anything you wish to know before I leave you on your own?"
Chalk nods. "What the hell am I doing here."
Chalk walks over to one of the sunflowers and picks it, taking in its scent and noming some seeds.
Penti walked up to the freezer, signaling for Boris and Colonel to join her, before climbing inside to join Chalk
The girl's eyes widen upon Chalk's picking a flower. "Oh, no no no no no. Not that. You are making a very bad mistake. Run. Away. Fast. NOW. Before the proprietor of the Garden gets back, HURRY! SHE WILL KILL YOU! THE PASSAGEWAY IS AT THE LAKE-" With that, the projection disappears into nothing.
Penti arrives in the field, overhearing what the projection said as she ran up to Chalk. "I think we might want to run" she suggested
Chalk gives Penti a very calm look, continuing to chew his seeds, as he nods in the direction of a lake in the distance. Chalk starts towards it.
Penti followed not far behind; taking in the scenery as she raced toward the lake
Boris is too busy eating to join the others in their freezer-hoping spacetime-traveling adventure. "I'll join you later," he calls with a full mouth, just after Penti-chan disappears into the box.
As the lake gets nearer, mist starts to obscure the area. Upon reaching the water, the air is so thick with mist that even breathing is somewhat difficult. From the rocky beach into the water (and into the cover of the mist) leads a path of flash-frozen ice, that surely would be steaming was the air not already very filled with moisture to the very brim. "Ah don' trust this ice ta' bear mah feet three feet," a familiar voice calls out from the mist. "Ya'll sure this 's a good idea? Ah mean, 's not ya'll who'll get stuck in this buckin' freezewater, s'all." Another (female) voice, slightly higher up, replies. "Of course I'm sure. I'm never NOT sure, y'now."
Chalk approaches, still chewing on his Sunflower.
Penti arrives, wondering what to do next; as the area was silent and misty
Chalk mulls what to do, savoring some petals.
"So...when is that girl doing to show up to point us in the right direction?" Penti said, confused as to why they're just standing around a misty lake without any further directions
As Penti speaks up, the voices in the mist react. "Hey! Whos'ere? An' ahm warnin' ya'll, ya best not try 'n sneak up on me 'r anythin' like that. Ahm havin' a real bad mornin', and that ain't makin' me no nicer." The other voice, however, says nothing, rather preferring to pop out of the mist right in front of them. "Heya!" A girl dressed in a large, black, pointy hat and a rather old-timey black dress with white frills and apron pops out of nowhere, hanging in the air a few feet above the pair's heads. "You're heading for the passageway, right? Might as well join blondie over there so we don't have to open it twice, don'tcha think?" She motions in the general direction of the ice path, and drops down a bit. She is riding a broom. "Follow me, I'll get ya over there." She starts hovering back into the mist, following the ice path. "Come on!"
Chalk follows the witch, still nomming his flower.
Penti follows not bar behind; wishing she had brought her wooden sword, just in case
Chalk peers down at the water as we walks. He contemplates dipping a toe in, but all the mist is making him nervous of touching it. Instead, he removes a petal from his flower and drops it in the water.
Penti stares at the petal; waiting for something exciting to happen
seeing nothing happen, Chalk continues in the direction of the voices, still chewing.
CHALK BURSTS THROUGH THE EXTERIOR WALL AND STRIKES A POSE LIKE THE KOOL-AID MAN.
The commotion wakes Borya-chan. "Stop making such a ruckus, Cho-" she stops mid sentence, realizing that Choco is Chalk. Hestitantly, she feels her body up and down in a swift pat - "THIS AGAIN?!" he cries, wondering how the hell a nap made him switch sexes. Again.
Waking up in his bedroom with a headache, Pentium got up...and realized he had turned into a girl once again. Blushing over the realization that she's naked, she rushed over to her closet to quickly get some clothes on.
After a few minutes, she steps out into the main room, wearing a rather basic dark blue cotton dress. She quickly notices Chalk had busted into the room Kool-Aid Man style, with Boris staring at him confused over what the hell is going on. "So...you did remember to bring a pitcher of Kool-Aid, right?" She asked him
Zel rolls out of bed. Not awake, though.
Banging to the floor and becoming entangled in a web of sheets, a high pitched exclamation is heard "but I has gravity suit!" An arm bursts forth from the sheets menacingly, then goes limp and hits her in the head. "welcome to my let's play of fall damage..."
Rolling around once more, medium snoring can then be heard as the movement calms.
"TWEET. TWEET. TWEET CHIRP."
There is a robotic bird circling around the ceiling. As in, walking upside down on it in circles.
"TWEET TWEET TWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-"
A sharp crackle is heard through the speaker unit of the birdbot, finally culminating in the sound of All Your Favorite Overlordessa's Fabulous Voice.
"Aaaaaaaaand good morning fellows, hope you enjoyed your downtime as much as I did. 500 days of playing Galaga! You have no idea how bored I am right now, so let's get on with the good news: You're all in reasonably human shape! Which is an improvement. I think. I'm not sure why you wouldn't be, but I have a nagging feeling you should be thankful to me for this. But! Grovel later. First, you must finish your Personal Quests. Please check your Personal Questbot* unit to choose one of the following."

CHALK BOLDLY HOLDS UP HIS PITCHER OF RED KOOL-AID, THEN DRINKS FROM IT, LETTING THE LIFEBLOOD OF THE BELOVED BEVERAGE CHARACTER SPILL OVER HIS MOUTH AND CHIN.
Strange noises come from the main room. The loud noises wakes Zel. Unfortunately, she is still trapped in sheets. She pushes the sheets down and off with her free arm, but they bunch up and become immoveable. "oh, I see," she says groggily; "this again." She decides to simply roll around all over the floor to unravel the sheets. Finally, she is free. She attempts to move her leg forward to get up by is alarmed at a seam splitting sound. "oh yeah, those again...", she says, feeling her pajamas squeeze on her now much bigger hips. She crawls towards her metal dresser and attempts to pull a drawer out. Managing to grab some stretchy gym shorts out of the random drawer, she knows what must be done.
Opening her door, she awkwardly walks out, even these shorts were nearly taught against her generously wide hips and caused her to walk funny, she also knew all her pants would have this problem. Using her white sleeveless t-shirt to wipe her face, she remarks "food?"
"Does anybody know what's going on?" Penti-chan said; slightly irritated by the robot parrot
"Nejina is back, that's what's going on," Boris answers Penti-chan. His train of thought is disrupted, however, by the appearance of a new face - a shapely woman in gym shorts and a teeshirt, mumbling something about food. "Er - have we met before?" He asks, trying to discern her identity.
"Nejina? Crazy Vista gadget lady?" Zel walks over to Boris, the same awkward stance being used and leans on his side. She sleepily spoke, "Well, you used to call me Choza, but I seem to have changed in the past year and a half since this last happened. I do thinkles that there is a bit much here," she pats the left side of her body around the hip area, "instead of here," her hand comes up to the left side of her quite flat chest and hovers over it. "Life gave me lemons and I am mad." She then slumps against Boris and yawns, "Does this mean no food? I want some chocolate!"
"Hey" Penti-chan said to Zel. "Chocolate would be nice...do you think maybe some is hidden in the kitchen?"
An enormous holoscreen materializes out of nowhere. The black, spiky helmet and armor worn by the lady on the screen obscures most of her bodily features, but the glowing eye sockets of the headgear and general tone of her voice tells you she's probably a bit mad at you.
"PEASANTS! BRING ME FOOD! NOW!"
The holoscreen pops out of view as an air duct screen is blown loose and drops to the floor. A short little blonde girl with a bobcut dressed in a green sports overall climbs out and jumps down on the floor. "Oh," she says as she spots the others. She eyes them all warily, fumbling with something in her pocket.
CHALK HOISTS THE EMPTY PITCHER HIGH IN THE AIR, LAUNCHING IT WITH THE FORCE OF A MINUTEMAN II AT THE SQUAWKING AUTOMATON.
Chalk proceeds into the kitchen, shuffling along in a navy blue yukata (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v115/despair_factor51/y2-95260-a.jpg), opening the fridge and taking out some ingredients to lay on the counter.
"Chocolate? I like that." Zel eyes Nejin and Choco and shrugs her shoulders, a blank look on her face. "Yeah, I remember this." Zel now walks awkwardly over to and leans on Penti, still shorter than even her. "Chocolate please." Her eyes go wide but retain their glazed over look.
Chalk, ignoring damn near all things going on around him, gets out a cutting board and knife, and a glass dish. He cuts the chicken into pieces and places them, along with the marinade ingredients, in the dish, and that back in the fridge. He goes about cleaning up the mess while everyone is mulling about.
Colonel, having finally been awoken from her centuries of slumber by the rumbling talk of outsiders (and her alarm clock), wanders out amongst the proles while wiping out her eyes on a night shirt, "Where'd you all come from?"
"My best guess is aliens. Seems like a reasonable explination" Penti-chan said to Colonel, before turning back to Zel. "Now, let's go raid the kitchen for chocolate. There should be some in the fridge"
Chalk raps Penti's head with a wooden spoon the second she mentions aliens. He then proceeds to pull a bar of chocolate out of his Yukata and shoves it in her mouth.
Chalk ventures out to the living room, approaching a long Kotatsu table that has appeared in the centre of the room. He begins placing coasters, going back to the kitchen for teacups and plates.
Once the table is set, Chalk resumes his cooking duties, putting a tea warmer on the table and a pot on top of it.
Removing the chocolate bar from her mouth, she speaks up. "This is nice and all, but...what about Zel? This isn't quite big enough to share, and she wanted some too"
Chalk whips another chocolate bar her way as he goes back to the kitchen. He rolls up his sleeves (http://ostan-collections.net/imeeji/displayimage.php?album=65&pos=3), taking a pot and some rice, beginning to wash out the excess starch. The milky white water seeps out of the pot with each wash, until eventually it turns clear. He fills it back up with water and puts it on the stove.
Chalk heats up a pan and oil, and gets the chicken from the fridge. Plopping a few chunks in the pan, the room fills with a warm sizzling sound and the smell of cooking. Chalk serenely shifts the pieces around the pan.
The girl mumbles something quiet, and then disappears down another ventilation shaft.
Boris-kun breaks away from the group and assails Colonel-chama with a mighty glomp. "I thought I was never going to see you again~!" He cries with uncharacteristic enthusiasm, before attempting to pick her up off her feet.
Zel's eyes double in size, water forming in them, "one chocolate bar? I shall surely starve and die." Her tiny stomach rumbles, its black whole inhabitant displeased.
CHALK POPS A VEIN IN HIS FOREHEAD. SWIFTLY TURNING FROM THE STOVETOP, HE REACHES INTO HIS YUKATA AND BEINGS LAUNCHING CHOCOLATE BARS WITH THE PRESCISION AND DEXTERITY OF A SKILLED NINJA. IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE ZEL IS PINNED TO THE WALL UNDER THE CHOCOLATE KUNAI.
Zel looks around slowly, noting the type and size of each chocolate bar, taking it in fully that she just got litteraly bombarded by many, many of her favorite food throughout the universe. Starting with the one pinning her right arm up, she devours it whole. She eats them all, one by one.
Eventually she removes the last one on her left shoulder and begins to move it towards her mouth. Sadly, she falls to the floor on her face. Rolling onto her back, she eats the last one and sighs dreamily "Chalk is amazing... so much chocolate. Chalk numbero uno."
While the commotion was going on in the kitchen, Rory runs into the room, hair all messy and wearing frilly PJs.
"SWEET FLYING SPAGHETTI MONSTER! I-- I-- I thought I felt weird this morning, and I thought it was just trippin' meatballs or something, but no... I'M A DUUUUUUUDE!" He shouts with grandiose gestures. Then non-chalantly "Hey, man. Can I get some chocolate?"
Still shuffling the meat at the stovetop, Chalk whips a bar at him over his shoulder without looking.
"Um, you seem different than before" Penti-chan said to Chalk, while eating the chocolate bar she was given. "Is something bothering you?"
Chalk looks back at Penti with a confused expression. Turning back, he scoops the cooked chicken onto a plate to drain, and puts more into the pan.
Chalk turns down the heat on the rice and begins to stir.
Boris gives up his attempt to carry Colonel-chan and puts her down. "Rory!" He exclaims, with a pat of his old comrade's head, "How you doing, bro?"
"Hey, uhh... Boris is your name now?" Rory said cheerfully, though rudely; he was talking with his mouth full since he forgot basic table manners presumably as a result of the transformation. "You want some chocolate too, comrade?" He said wistfully. "Maybe while we're at it, we can talk about the old days, back when we were at bootcamp on the Martian colony. Before things got complicated."
Boris smiles. "Sure, I'll have some chocolate. Though you might have to refresh my memory," his eyes shift uneasily, "I'm afraid my recollection of, uh, Martian Bootcamp is a bit fuzzy."
"Thanks. I could use the extra comfort food." Rory said. "When we were living on Mars, we were both sent to bootcamp as teens. That was where I met you. I don't know what you were in for, but I was quite the notorious bandit." Feeling nostalgic, he mused on.
"Remember when we were both scoping out members from other platoons to pull pranks on? Good times, comrade. Let me tell ya, the old hand in the water while sleeping prank works! And there was that time that you, me and a few others within our platoon became the queens of the old swimming hole. That was righteous."
Eavesdropping on their fascinating story, Penti-chan interjected with a question for Boris and Rory. "You were on Mars at one point? Where there any extra-terrestrial beings there, or was it only populated by humans?"
Chalk shovels another load of chicken onto the plate, and loads up some more.
While the chicken is frying, Chalk takes some rice bowls out from a cabinet. He goes to the kotatsu in the living room and begins setting it with chopsticks and napkins, and pours tea into each of the cups.
Chalk goes back and stirs the rice, and unloads, then reloads, another batch of chicken.
