Well, I think it'll take a hell of a lot more than just IBM to take on Microsoft.  IBM hasn't been a major player since the early 1990s.

I think the only onse who have really got any potential are Amiga and Apple.  If one of them teamed up with IBM, then they might have a chance.

Hopefully Amiga.  Me like Amigas.

IBM makes both hardware and software, so does apple.

Microsoft mainly only makes software.

I know, but Microsoft is partnered with pretty much all OEMs.  IBM doesn't make PCs anymore as far as I'm aware.  The only way they could compete with M$ is if they either partnered with someone who did, or started up again themselves.
