Is there any simple, userfriendly, free sound editor, like just to clip parts out of songs, and stuff?

Windows Sound Recorder (or whatever its name is in English) can cut the sound files for you. ;) You need to convert the mp3 (or other) files into .wav format before using it, though.

It's not a really 'professional quality tool', but I've had lots of fun with it. Not too many options available, but very easy to use. :D

I use that too... together with dbpoweramp software to convert from one format to another. (wma -> ogg)

Both work on linux too :p

Plus other sound editors have bad recording so I really reccomend this
