Does anyone what it's representing? Just like 3.1 have that DOS cat, what could this one be? My guess so far is Windows PowerShell.
i honestly haven't a clue.
considering it origniated in japan
and the fandom is moar well-known there....
i pegged it for dos-kitty. made sense, as there was no allusion to a new character besides nanami.
I would think it would be the Virtual PC. It is a little accessory to run the old XP programs in XP mode and to run the older OS's too, Like MS-DOS, but more fundamental, the actual virtual machine that is always with Nanami.
[quoute]always with Nanami[/quote]
Considering it's Downloadable Content and Pro/Enterprise/Ultimate only, I don't really think that's...well... >_>
The Nanami theme came with Win 7 Ultimate in Japan as a bonus, so the addition of the VM is the cat from the Win 7 Ultimate.
Still I think it is the availability of the hidden features that are available in 7, like the VM or the anytime upgrade from other editions of 7 to use the VM system are always there. Not a part of the current OS, just separate entities.
I think the cat is just the little non-installed features of 7, that is always there, but not part of Nanami.
Anyways a cat is cute none the less.
it adds to the character. :3
A cat is...fine too?
my point exactly.
now then, since the topic has been covered, i motion for close. seconded?
Cats are cute, nuff' said.

The pool is pool, and thus, CLOSED.
I think the cat is actually DOS Kitty. Nanami is DOS' current human.
Nanami is based off of NT, which doesn't use DOS at all. The closest thing to DOS on the NT-based Windows is the DOS BOX emulator. 3.1-tan is still DOS Kitty's owner.
I think the Nanami's cat represents the Windows 7 extras.
Okay. Time to kill this with fire. Stand back, everybody!
