Have any of you ever heard of Ooma? If so, what do you think about it?

so it's like one of those things you hook up to your computer to get your phone through the net? (am i right?)

i've honestly never heard of it. but it sounds like one of those products like vonage and magicjack. if so, cool. i like the sleek design. :3

No, this connects directly to your router/cable/dsl modems. It doesn't require the computer to be on.

People have had plenty of issues with Ooma though, such as MAC Addresses already being registered (MAC Addresses are used to activate units.)
