Title: 2007 C.E.!
Post by: MisterCat on January 01, 2007, 02:31:19 AM
I've just hung the new calendar, a Joan Miró calendar, so I'll be filling in a couple of January appointments under the appropriate dates.  Even as we speak, it's been 2007 C.E. for an entire 33 minutes!

15 hours into the 2007 already; sorry I couldn't make it here on time to wish everyone a happy new year, but err... I sort of got a little, little bit tipsy (not plastered, just 'heehee' kind of tipsy) and went for a longer walk outside with my best friend at night. Then I slept in properly. ^^;

So, ummm... Happy Belated (or Already Begun) New Year to everyone at OS-tan Collections! :D

Good luck to everyone this year!
Don't forget, it's MY year!  ^__^
So the moment that clock in February strikes "Year of the Pig", fork over plenty of presents to me, or there ain't gonna be any good fortune.  ^.^

Too late...but...

Happy new year to everyone here too!
Now I just returned from Granma's house and got something...
The fever! TT^TT But I'm feeling better now.
Near my Granma's house, about 100 monks and novices come for us to make merit called 'receive elms' by putting rice, water, money etc. into something that the monks carry. (what was it called... ?) After that, I won't forget to pray for everyone in OS-tan collections to have a healthy new year. (Of course, no one like wasting new year period for resting... TT^TT)

Someone talk about the Chinese New Year...I'm looking forward to it. Thai people will give the money to their children and grandchildren!  ;010

Post by: MisterCat on January 02, 2009, 05:34:24 AM
Greetings and salutations to you, Captain!  I'll explain this lengthy absence without leave, just as soon as I can think of an excuse.

;146

Since I'm not an artist, I wasn't able to meaningfully contribute to this board's effort.  I ended up posting lots of pictures of Yoko Ritona and little else. (The anti-Yoko anime-board and wiki-editing misogynists are suddenly trying to re-name her Yoko Littner, so as to confuse people and thus artificially diminish her popularity.) So after a time I began to feel I was becoming a Johnny One-Note around here.

Hey! It's a reunion!!! ;010
Title: Yes, it is!
Post by: MisterCat on January 22, 2009, 02:29:48 PM
It's good to have these reunions from time to time!  Sorry, but I've been out in the hall chatting up Yoko.

She's hilarious when she gets a bit tipsy!  Don't ever believe girls don't tell dirty jokes.  Look, if I don't see you guys later it's because ... erm ... well, Yoko and me have decided to adjourn to a more private location for (shall we say) an extended conversation.

;036

Don't worry:  I'll not take advantage of her.  It's unwise to attempt taking advantage of somebody who can beat the crap out of guys three times her size.  On the other hand, if Yoko wants to take advantage of me....

;012

Oops, I hear Gunbee!  Gotta go!

Post by: MisterCat on January 25, 2009, 08:41:15 PM
Consider me admonished, Chocofreak13.  You know, Yoko kept warning me to be careful:  "Are you sure you're up to this, so to speak?  I mean, I want to; but how's your heart?"

I beat my chest and told her, "I'm ready!"  When I woke up in the emergency room later, the physician told me Yoko had beat my chest too.  If she hadn't, I'd have been ... not here, anyway.

Quote from: "Wikipedia"It is still used in the Netherlands and Belgium for a traditional custom called Carbidschieten (Shooting Carbide). To create an explosion, carbide and water are put in a milk churn with a lid. Ignition is usually done with a torch. Some villages in the Netherlands fire multiple milk churns in a row as a New Year's Eve tradition.[citation needed] The old tradition comes from the old pagan religion to chase off spirits.

So it would be unwise to come here for new years then....especially in the town where i live, since Kampen is notorious for having great batteries of milk churns all over town...
