I think some Linux distros are setup with an install to dual boot between Windows and Linux option it would be a good way to try things out and gradually transition.

Your right I'm sorry I shouldn't be that aggressive; aghhh maybe I should just jump off the Windows ship right now before Microsoft and papa Satya find even more ways to torture me to death or even get revenge on me in my nightmares man I really miss Windows XP, Vista, 7, and 8.1 they where so much better compared to what we have today as of currently Windows 10 and 11 are way worse maybe its time I may be getting another Laptop given to me real soon so I may install something like Zorin OS on it to try out.

Can we tone down the swearing though? It's starting to feel really aggressive, I get that passions are high, but I feel the discussion could be a lot more productive without this aggressive tone.

I wasn't saying you were harassing me at the moment, but I thought you were going to not like me because I use Windows 11 & since you called its users "turds" I wasn't even being a fanboy, after all Windows did need a refresh but I will have to agree Microsoft hasn't been doing a good job at listening to it's userbase and listens to businesses instead.

At this rate we need another Home User/Business Split (just like Microsoft did from 1996 to 2001) so Microsoft can do what the Users want with Home releases while Microsoft does what it wants with Buisness releases, fair compromise.

Also here is something weird: Back in 2015, people were saying the same things about Windows 10 that they do now about Windows 11 and vowed that Windows 7 was better and Windows 10 was he-double-hockey-sticks. same with Vista in 2006 and XP in 2001. Confound it... Windows started of with a rocky start in 1985.

I wish not to start an argument, but someday, there will be a Windows Version you would hate more than Windows 11 seeing this pattern

No, No! Windows is getting worse. Windows 10 Pro has ads in it—not just Home, but Pro, Enterprise, and Education too. Thanks to Chris Titus Tech Tools: https://christitus.com/windows-tool/ its what helped me kept my sanity when using these shitty operating systems especially Winshit 11, I disabled that stupid context menu and I'm using the old one, its better that way. It's a different era—no more Windows XP or 7 and back than we didn't have NO Fucking TikTok Bullshit other fucking crap like that to deal with in the PAST!" It's like they say you don't own your PC Microsoft does when you have Windows installed on your PC!

Windows is getting worse with each new version that is released. Yes, every version upon release has its flaws, but this fucking shit of a situation is different. Windows didn't revert to its previous state after Windows 8; we're still experiencing the lingering effects. The team is relentlessly trying to mobilize the entire fucking UI, even though it's a desktop operating system for god's sakes.

They continue to push XAML and UWP since Windows 8 and they continue to be ignorant about the situation and end users HATE HATE HATE this fucking shit especially me, so when they now trying to push crap like WinUI and MAUI that means they don't LISTEN TO THE END USERS AND DEVS AIN'T GONNA GIVE A CRAP ABOUT WHAT MICROSOFT IS TRYING TO FUCKING PUSH THEIR SHIT ON DEVS! and Devs are gonna use other tools there are better tools out there. You can't defend this shit. Even businesses rely on legacy Win32 programs that haven't been rewritten, which would be prohibitively expensive for them to do. Most including regular users prefer Win32 APIs over the UWP ones, (not to be confused with 32-Bit Code that is completely different). Let's just say Microsoft making Windows 8 did some real fucking damage to them and their mindset, and the way the make Windows now a days.

I understand that you might want to defend Windows 11 because you're using it, but in my experience, everything about it is FUCKING TRASH, because I used it for almost a year now and shit ain't getting any better. It's a downgrade from the functionality of the taskbar and right-click context menu to the fucking dogshit they call the start menu in Winshit 11. Older versions of Windows were much better in this regard. It feels like a less functional OS, and anything that comes after Windows 11 seems to be heading in a bad direction.

I genuinely despise and loath the Windows 11 design team behind the Windows 11 UI. It's garbage and fucking trash. This no longer feels like a Windows OS; they're trying to fucking rip off Chrome OS, MacOS, and Linux UI and not in a good way either. Personally, I want my Windows OS to look like Windows. Additionally, they keep adding such useless fucking shit features to Windows and even File Explorer is not safe from their grubby hands. I ended up removing the fucking Home and Gallery sections using the registry because they serve no fucking purpose other than bloat and annoyance. Take a look at the image below, showing my Windows 11 Desktop, I fucking despise this shitty half-ass operating system.


There are also so many glitches in Windows 11 that I managed to trigger this with the Windows Title Bars (Please look very closely at the upper left corner of the image, ZOOM in if you have to):


Do you want to keep defending Microsoft over and over again? Yes, they had problems with XP, Vista, 7—whatever. But this shit is fucking different now. Their modern business model aims to satisfy investors so they can make more money. Splitting the products into Home and Business users won't help; they're a business, and they want to exploit users for profit. Whether you're a business user, a home user, or just Joe Dane, Microsoft turned Microsoft Office into a Software as a Service (SaaS) in 2013. And guess what? They eventually want to do the same with Windows, so they can charge you multiple times to use your own computer.

Don't compare today's Microsoft to past's Microsoft. Papa Satya and the execs only care about money. They're such a monopoly that they keep pumping out shitty versions of Windows. It's not like the good old days. And guess what? Windows is no longer their primary income source. It's subscription services like Office (now known as Microsoft 365) and their cloud service, Azure. So, whether you're a business or a home user, they treat you the same and so I don't think they would give a shit about listening to their users.

I'm trying out Linux and moving to it because I'm fed up with all the issues I've had to put up with in Windows 10 and 11. They're garbage. Sorry, also I'm not harassing you I'm just saying its not worth it to defend Windows 11 it just encourages Microsoft to make even worse decisions which can lead to worser products which means we can get a versions of Windows that could end up being 10 times worse than Windows 11 already is and even that thing is already shit and already has alot of backlash underneath its belt and is already in enough hot water let's not forget about Windows Recall.

Windows is a sinking ship its a skeleton of its former self Windows just hasn't been the same since Windows 8 in 2012 and Windows 11 ain't making shit any better b just being bad so we might as well jump ship to Mac OS and Linux which are now far better than the crap Microsoft loves to give us now a days.
