Any mac user here? I would like to share some infos. and stuff about Mac.
Hey! A fellow Mac user! :)
Which Macs do you use?
Hello there! I'm a Mac user too, they're my favourite *home* computer. ^^

I am currently using macbook pro 15". Much faster than my vista desktop o_o
I was raised on Mac OS7 thru OS9 until like, 2000. Then Me and mom switched to Windows 98SE.
Then, 2006, I got my hands on XP MCE on a gateway computer that I bought with left over financial aid.
After I sold it foolishly for 100 USD, I got an IBM T41 wit Linux. But I dabbled in linux and Windows before that, ever since my OS Overview class in 2006.
I'm on Windows 7 now... with an ASUS laptop.
I've been using Macs since the mid 90's, using System 7.5 as my first OS.
Now I use Mac OSX Leopard as my main OS, and System 6 as my secondary OS. :D
Still haven't upgraded to Snow Leopard because I'm concerned about compatibility issues with software I have, and heard it causes laptops to overheat frequently.
You can see all my Mac's in the retrocomputing thread. Started on System 7 and ended at OSX 10.1
ive used a bunch of mac g3's when i was in the graphic design school 2003, 2006.
during that, experienced the change from osx 10.2 g3's to brand new g5 imacs and mac pro's. however they were plagued by bunch of problem, though most from the poor g3 server that kept crashing. school had also one g4 cube an couple g4 imacs and atleast one emac
i'm more of a windows person, but i've always wanted advice on how exactly to go about installing mac on a PC computer (it'd be like a pet computer). so i'll post here. :3
Tread in wrong forum, go away. -_-

It's a simple process. First, you barricade your house in case Steve Jobs' OSX License Enforcement Squad pays a visit...
The only Mac systems I've used on PCs have been emulated, 'fraid I can't help you there. Not like there aren't a million sites out there that have step-by-step instructions on the process, though. -v-
lulz. should look into it.
but nej is right, can this thread be moved? :\
Did I ever mention that my imac runs on a pirated osx 10.3.9?
:3 it's not stolen. it's just aquired in a creative fashion. xD
pirates rule. >3
WE RULE THE SEAS
Pah! Britannia rules the seas!
Come now, you know what came of THAT claim.
And besides...we MADE the Eighth sea, you know. -w-
It's probably actually the tenth sea, though, since humans got to sailing in both the sky and space before that...but, meh.
silly nejin, you forgot the rest of the code! sneakiness fail. ^^
hmm, wonder where i'd go about getting a random copy of sonata. :\
soon to be osx86 user here
I got a copy of 10.3 for .50 and 10.4 for 4.00 at a local goodwill. i don's own a mac, but i felt sorry for the unopened OSes
aw. poor things. :[
well, now they have you to love them. ^^
my college is purely mac-based. normally, this wouldn't be a problem, but it's the fact of i think they are trying to limit what type of computer i should get......
i'm getting replacement parts for my HP special edition and using win 7, bitch. >:[
although, i have a spare box and was thinking of tracking down OS9 and putting it on there. ^^
I am thinking about going on ebay and getting a Windows ME laptop for my stories and drawing (i got a semisketch II 12x12 from 94")
and I am going to get a Sonata powerbook if i can get one for under 40.00, for interweb.
If you want an ME laptop, I'd reccommend a Dell Latitude C810. 1.1GHz Pentium 3, and a 32MB GeForce2 Go (world's first laptop graphics card!).
