Title: Anybody got his hands on the nanami version?
Post by: cym104 on October 22, 2009, 04:09:27 AM
I heard that they already kicked off win7 in japan. So, any lucky dogs around here?

And I just saw it on wikipedia that the limited version would have 25 sound sets in all!!! o_o  o_o

edit:I was talking about the pre-ordered DSP version.

Very nice, thanks for the upload.  Even though I had Windows 7 since August, the blasted Asian market still gets a better promo.

Hrmm, just tried the file, it does not seem to open even after unlocking.  Is there something special I have to do with it besides double clicking?

EDIT#2: Thanks for the updated theme fix.  Hrmm, the close sound seems a bit annoying though :/

Are those pirated? If so, they are not allowed and will have to be deleted. Pirated content is not allowed to be distributed on OSC.

Sorry, but I don't want this site to get in any possible legal trouble.

I did not see any DLC in the official Windows 7 site in the Japanese version

http://windows.microsoft.com/ja-JP/windows/downloads/personalize

Unless there is another place I am not looking at.

Resident pirate here.
Not on 7 currently, but the themepack was just a .rar-rename away from usage, so I did that.

I was an inch from dying of all the HNNGGGGGGG while I was sound-testing, and as you can imagine, this is quite disturbing while writing or doing other kinds of srs bzns.
Nice desktop pic though, will stay for a while.

^ You mean the chiiing sound, yes, that was the first thing I removed from the sound list. Close seems to represent more than just close though, in Windows 7 even copy/cut then paste causes it to fire.

OH RITE.
By the way, Aurora - I wouldn't even classify this as pirated material, seeing as it is available for at least the japanese win7 users freely just as, say, Windows media player is, so yeah.

It has been a long time...

But, I had installed the Themepack on the April RC version as seen here.
http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd3/cadha21/Screenshot/DIYUltimate.png
It worked ok, but some of the sounds did not work. Like the *chin* sound and the when the pack is loaded.

Then I installed the retail version (x64 Ultimate), it worked perfectly as seen as I installed the Virtual PC.

http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd3/cadha21/Screenshot/XPmode.png

This is very cute, and I know a spot of Japanese. I loaded the Japanese pack and run time to time in Japanese. This is a keeper, I am a crazy fan of the Nanoha and Rosario series and Nana Mizuki is one of the best!

There are still copies of the RC version still out there. They still have a year before the period of being useful expire. All of the Betas expire next year in August I think.

If you are a student, I recommend you get Win 7 for $30 and can upgrade to Ultimate for $140. This offer is still good till 01/03/10.

I put almost all of my money to get the Ultimate version. Yeah, Just wait it will get better, I ran with Win 2k for about 6 years before I bought a new HP  tablet. Then I had to say goodbye to 2K as I put XP on the desktop for me to even use networking from my Vista Tablet to the other computers.

I really like to see the Cosplay of Win 2K, I'll just bring my Sony Alpha 900 over with 24 year old Minolta AF lenses and shoot.

Stay with it, and you'll get it!

Hi guys, I put the nanami style in my 64bit Vista Ultimate , since it has a much better performance on this computer. Windows7 Ultimate 64bit was running  for  1month but I was not realy satisfied , it feels slow ,and somehow the much old fashioned look  of the task bar. The  system stability was very good, no crashes, same as Vista  -> of course the use the same kernel . ( Asus 8935G quad core notebook )

I reconfigured the sound settings manually (in the win seven version it does it automatically)
The windows seven theme file is nothing else as a zip folder with a changed ending, just drag your folder in WinZip / ultimate zip etc and it will open like an archive. Now extract it and now there is a default windows vista theme file, and now double click at it - > now the visual stuff is done , the sound files you must change one by one ( takes 2 minutes )
The deskmate on the center is just a small program and can run via a exe fil , be aware somehow it sucks lot performance on 64 bit machines , on my 32 bit vista netbook with intel atom it runs smooth without slowing down the system , I don’t know up to know why.

For change the media center it was necessary to modify a dll file from the media center and some registry changes. But ok here is the result

For the screenshot I switched my O/S Langue to Japanese ( Ultimate Vista 64 bit )

prognosis is not that great for speedy, but if she recovers she's getting the *bloated* windows 7. (friend who's helping me says it's bloated, but i think it'll be nice. :3 )

If I understand all right, are new sisters related to Nanami (One per each 7 version oO, but I really no read about voice seiyuu n,n')... and nop, aren't just for Seven n_n, you can open the pack using your favorite unzip tool (Really are renamed zip files ^^)...

Each package contains a sound scheme (WAV, OS-tan voice) in addition to 2 wallpapers (JPG, OS-tan filename related)+1 wallpaper (JPG, All of 5 OS-tan -No nanami -_-'-, this file is the same on every files ._.)...

I use XP home and mix both schemes of Nanako (Was Nanako >¬<'?) for my system sounds n___n...
