OH FUCKIT, WHEN DID I MISS BEING TOLD THIS
YOU COULD HAVE PREVENTED THIS

It was in the daily intelligence returns.  Wait.  That makes no sense.  I have to stop listening to Beck and fussing with tea for hours on end, it really screws with your mind.

NejinOniwa

TODAY WILL BE EPIC GIFT-MAKING DAY then, since I'm free all day long -w-

Mm, quite.  I'm in much the same situation since it's Friday tomorrow.

I need of IS subs, hopefully they will be out tomorrow but my rage is slowly going up without subs being supplied.

Oh well, when I wake up they should be released and I've got an RSS feed for it on my desktop so I'll know right away :D

I WANT A GIFT FROM NEGIN! Negin, what is the best beer in Sweden (or Scandinavia in general) so I know what to drink when I get there! When I go to Europe I must drink each country's famous/favorite/best beer! I'll be doing the loop and going into Scandinavia (because I've got friends and family within the loop) so I'll probably be drinking from this list (Also decided to go a little deeper into Italy into Venice)

England- Samuel Smith or Bass
France- Pelforth
Italy- Peroni
Austria- Brauhaus Nussdorf
Czech Rep.- Pilsner Urquell
Germany(this is where it gets fun!)- Hacker-Pschorr and Hofbräuhaus
Denmark- Carlsberg/Tuborg
Sweden- ???
Norway- ???
Netherlands- Amstel 1870
Belgium- Achel

My grandparents from England are probably going to come with me on the trip because I don't get to see them much (because they are on the olther side of the earth most of the time and only come to the states every few years) so its going to be a crazy experience.

I'm not exactly an oracle of beer, you know...
However, my mother is, and I do know quite a bit about her tastes, and others of the clan as well.

To start, Czech beer favorite in the clan is Staropramen and/or Starobrno. British/Eirery includes Spitfire, Hobgoblin and Bishop's Finger. The thing is that Swedish beer is generally considered too "wimpy" in the clan - most of them have a liking of very bitter, ale-type beers - so there's not much of it consumed. However, I remember Wisby Pils/Klosteröl getting something like a passing grade before. I'll have to consult the local experts on the area - personally I can't take the taste of any kind of beer whatsoever - before I give a more definite review.
Meanwhile, you can let the search function at Systembolaget do its job. The generally famous brands, however, are Pripps, Norrlands Guld and Falcon - large breweries selling most stuff.

As for norwegian beer, I have no idea, but doing the same search with vinmonopolet should give something. Possibly.

Remilia

Happy birthday, Bella! :D

I have no idea why do I so often end up buying ice cream in the middle of the winter while knowing that the temperature in the apartment isn't what it should be. I'm freezing. ._.

Pitkin

Poor Remilia, but if it makes you feel any better, I'm freezing too and my nose is running ~.~

Dr. Kraus

Nice and warm here with two space heaters and 3 computers running -.- I'm going to blow a fuse and I know it...

We just have the water-based central heating, and even though it'd become expensive to have electric space heaters in addition, this winter I've really felt tempted by them. >.<

edit: Just to finish that fuse, turn on the stove and oven still. xP

NejinOniwa

I finished dat present nao, so now I'm just off to scan it and gimp it some for your pleasure, borya.

The thing is that I can kill all the electricity from my room by overloading it, always fun :D

Chocofreak13

finished bells/nej's respective presents, just need to colour with gimp.

speaking of space heaters, i'd like to build a kotatsu when i get my own place a few years down the road. i'm worried about fire hazards, though. ;__;

it gets cold in here, but i don't notice since i constantly have 3 layers on, and 6 blankets on my bed. i also have a heating pad, partly for warmth, partly for back issues.
