I'm back.. And with a story to tell.

Walmart tried to rip me off. They said that the serial no. on the Xbox 360 console didn't match the serial no. on it's box. How did this happen? Beats me. But that console I got might not have been so new. (perhaps one they had sitting in a warehouse somewhere? They just put it in a new box?)

Anyway, in the end they did refund it.

Two days later I go to gamestop.

Unlike half the people at walmart, the workers at gamestop actually know alot about Videogames.

The guy I talked to informed me that all the Xbox 360 units made after june 2007 had a new chip in them that made them more resistant toward the dreaded ring of death.

They didn't have any of the pro bundles left, but they did have a few "Halo 3 Consoles".

Yes, you are talking about the falcon chip set. I would look up on line for the details on how to identify if you have the new chip set but I was under the impression none of the Halo 3 editions had that chip set...

however, If I was you I probobly would have waited till you could find an Elite box.  The Halo 3 edition 360 as cool as it looks comes with the 20gb HD as where the Elite comes with the 120GB for 50 bucks more.  Seperate the 120gb HD is like $189.  Good trade to get it with the system.  Im a pretty huge halo fan. If masterchief were real Id have his baby, but I didnt get that version for that reason.  that 20gb drive runs out of space fast if you download alot of content...

But Im glad to see another 360 supporter aroung here! Dispite everyones blatant hate for Microsoft I belive its a great system and Im a proud owner and supporter of it.


In other news Im back kinda, after my absence due to Holidays Melencholy.  I hate holidays and I felt really depressed and was rarely online. hopefully Ill be around more now.

my experiences in gamestop have been very good, and the people that work there usually do know their games. ^^

my holidays were nice and peaceful. Small family gatherings and whatnot.  

ooh, and SleepyD went to Anime Los Angeles this past weekend~!  Which is basically his first small con, and that was quite fun. :3

OMG... I so feel so bad for not coming on during the holidays and not wishing everyone a happy new year and happy holidays. ;-;

School is back and is being a pain and exams are on the way.  I REALLY don't wanna do them. >_< I  didn't enjoy my holiday break since I spent most of it in extreme amount of pain and forcing myself to do school work (which wasn't a good idea...). And I didn't get much sleep either.... Actually, I haven't had a good night sleep in almost four months... >.>

But I do have some good news. I'm FINALLY, after six years of complaining, getting my eyes checked. And for all you members that are using my stamps, I have more finished! I actually got my butt in gear and worked on them! C-Chan, I think you'll be VERY pleased with what I will post. <3

Lots of people I know were born in January.
My own birthday's near the end of the month (I'm going to be still-not-quite-old-enough-to-drink-years old.)

A lotta snow here, too, but it's been melting off. I really love winter weather, being a snowboarder and all. But it's not a lot of fun when all we've got is muddy snow. But I guess I should be glad we got so much over the holidays...
