OY.   how many of you really have a 360?   Just about every friend i have has one right now and not one red ring of death, and if you kept up on such things, they have just been released with a new stable chip set and the famose red ring occurances are way down.

Personaly, Id never even begin to concider putting linux on my 360 even if I didnt loath and dispise it already.  For one, its a 400 dollar peice of equipment id void the warrentee for,  and second, there is nothing wrong with it right now.  Once again, dont fix what isnt broke.

as for getting trojan horses and all that other crap.. here is an idea.. stop pirating stuff, its full of viruses most of the time.  You wouldnt have had that problem if you werent downloading roms.

Sou, sou! You can't just go around downloading stuff from random sites, that's gonna crash the shit out of your compy for SURE. No, here's what to do - acquire QUALITY, and get somewhere safe to download stuff from. -w- Torrents are the best, but things like DC++ works fine as well.

I'll openly admit that even though I don't own ANY next gen consoles, I'm still more of a PS3 guy, but I do agree with the captain in that the red ring of death isn't really that commonplace anymore.  

There are a lot of sob stories about people getting refurbished 360s and having to return them multiple times since they all failed.  And I don't doubt those.  

Nearly all consoles when they're first released has something wrong with it.  And they always fix it in later iterations.  

Regarding linux... well, I dunno.  Can't say much, and I'm sure you guys already know the PS3 was designed with Linux in mind...

Ah... piracy... I know where I download my stuff.  And if it was from a place I don't trust, I'd probably scan it with something first.  And SleepyD does buy things. just when he has money... (once or twice a month....?)

I've been soooo busy these past few months. i've only gots one year of schooling left so i guess its kind of expected.

anyway. seems like everyones active and well, i guess i'll have more time next year. ill need alot of catching up to do!

Well, here I am. At Os-tan Collections at 11:10 in the middle of the night.
But this time it's different than my average "Nightly Post" and I'll tell you why.

Two of the things I got for Christmas are: A Xbox 360, and a minifridge/dormfridge.

I was playing Sonic the Hedgehog *Nextgen*, I was at kingdom valley, when I lost my last life by falling. But when I hit the water/botomless pit, I didn't die and respawn, or go back to the main screen. Instead it froze...Solid..
Nothing would work, so I got up to do a manual reset.
I turn it off, turn it back on, load the game.
This time it freezes at the "Sonic Team" screen.
I do all that again. This time it doesn't even get to the home screen.

That's when I saw it..........

My mother bought it for me around mid-december and still has the receipt so tomorrow we're taking it back to walmart.
If for some reason they won't take it. I'm sending it to Micro$oft.
But so help me...I'm keeping the "Free game" that was included.

My Wii and Fridge still work great however.

I've had that wii almost a year now with no problems...But four days on the 360 and that happens...oy -_-
I'm glad the disc tray still works though or I would be out of a game.
