Panda, it should never hurt. That means you're doing something wrong. Ideally corsets run about 4-5 inches less from what your waist really is. So don't push it, really. It's not worth it.

The corset is cute though <3 don't get garter straps unless you're gonna be actively wearing skirts and dresses with thigh high stockings, though.

I don't think I'll be wearing thigh high nylons much, plus it saves me $32 with out the garters. Leaving the corset at $259.99. That's still a huge amount.
