I know Oreimo is one of those "everyone hates it because incest" series, so maybe that played a factor? IDK.

With 18 days to go, I've almost finished packing for my trip; I washed my cosplay and packed it away in a Space Bag, and then packed some other clothes I want to bring with me in another bag. I may revise what I want to bring as I get closer to time; I do need to pick up a new pair of shorts soon, for one thing (I'm down to my pair that doesn't have pockets).

Tomorrow, when I get paid, I'll book the hotel. When Kari gives me the go-ahead, I'll book the hotel; I'll have the money, but I'm waiting for her to iron out some details on her end first

A bit random, but am I remembering correctly that somebody on here worked on VA-11 Hall-A or some kind of CD graphic layout for it?

I finally got around to playing through it after buying it during the steam winter sale. Good stuff.

So, I'm waiting for Kari to finally turn up again, so we can iron out some details on my trip. I'm starting to think just doing the con on Sunday might be the best option at this point, but she hasn't been around to talk in a few days; last I heard was to wait on the hotel, but if we don't make a decision by tomorrow, I can't get my discount and it'll be even more expensive for us to do this. If she waits too much longer, Sunday will be the only cost-effective option left for us to go to the con; which I would personally prefer over skipping it entirely, so we could squeeze in more stuff during my trip and still have a reason to wear the cosplay I prepared.

Yup! That was me who designed up some physical media stuff for VA-11 HALL-A just before it released! Even scrounged together a full 3 sets and sent them off to the team.

So, we decided to do the con on all 3 days, so the hotel and con passes are finally booked. All that's left is to mail my trade box to Kari, and iron out a few last-minute details

Life has been pretty busy on my end. I've been pretty successful in not letting school take over my life but enforcing free time has come at the cost of doing worse in school. :/

Well clearly the answer is to devote 100% of your time to your studies, forgoing food, sleep, exercise, socialisation, everything in the name of the almighty GPA.

So, in a few hours, I'm going back home. I forgot to even post mentioning I was already on my trip, but oh well.

The con itself was amazing, although everyone in my group has come to the conclusion that "Monday never happened"; due to problems with certain people and the fact we didn't accomplish anything. I'm hoping maybe we can do this again next year; we could plan it out better and iron out some of the quirks (Better hotel, maybe closer to the T, maybe have Bella join us, etc.)

So Willow was diagnosed with diabetes on saturday, and Scooby was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism today.  What a week.

I'm no longer employed at Pizza Hut, as of writing this. When I returned from my trip, I found that they gave the store to this barely-qualified kid that loved to talk down on me and treat me like a new employee in spire of my nearly 5 years of experience, cut my hours back so far that I simply wouldn't be able to survive, on top of us not seeing eye-to-eye on how the store should be run, and the assistant manager (The only good person on management left in that dump) turning in his resignation.

The last straw was him throwing a fit about me being early for my shift. You didn't misread that; he was angry at me for being early for my shift. At that point, I had enough and left there for good. I may be unemployed, but I am glad I got off that sinking ship...though I need to find a new job before the end of May, since I've budgeted myself to make it last until then (I have enough in savings so I can bail out of here and start my life over up north, though I hope to only have to do that as a last resort)
