What's in your hand, back at me. I have it, it's an oyster with two figures of your favorite Touhou characters. Look again, the figures are now vials of the Hourai Elixir. Anything is possible when your waifu smells like Old World and not a man. I'm a frog.

Feeling trailblazing for being a woman in a male-dominated field.  8)

Pt 2: Getting treated really well for being a woman in a male-dominated field.

Extremely wide range of fashion, hairstyling and grooming options

Also: Not personally relevant but the power to create new life if you're into that sort of thing.

@Bella: Indeed -w-

So, kinda pissed off; went all the way to Jacksonville to go to that recycling place...only for it to be a giant waste of time, as I only got $2 for my haul, because 99% of it "didn't count". Urgh. I'm not wasting my time going back out there again >_>;

At least on a positive, I did scoop up Landstalker, for the Sega Genesis, for $4, when it normally runs about $20 or so. I'll mention more about it in Games General later; since I tried it last night as part of Penti Tries MegaDrive -w-

@Kari: This was the closest one I knew of; the next closest is in Dallas; not even remotely worth trying to drive to :\

My college has a reuse center with a bunch of Windows 3.1 towers and basically anything someone might hoard.

Maybe the last time I was there the guy said he would sell the at a dollar each. It's also where I got my eMac which I bargained down to $30 from $100. I had to take that thing back to my dorm with my bike all the while taking public transit for the first time ever. I got on the wrong bus wound up in the middle of downtown. A block from my dorm it started to rain a nice person helped me grab my bike as booked for the dorm. I named the eMac Moby dick for being a great white pain in my ass; I received help from about 3 random people that day. FYI eMacs weigh 50lbs.

@Kari: Metal is super-super easy. There's 2 different ones I know how to get to; one of which isn't far from grandma's office

@Lego: I heard the eMac is ungodly heavy; moreso than the original iMac G3...although Stew will argue that an eMac weighs about "an empty cardboard box and aluminum foil". So, IDK; maybe he's secretly Superman -w-;

The stuff inside the eMac isn't that much different than a iMac G3 but for whatever the reason that thing's CRT feels like it's made of led. I've heard people have swapped out the CRT for an LCD, which can make it weigh around 15 to 20 lbs. The CRT is also Apples defense system to stop you from upgrading it, it's like a bad Soviet Russia joke: With eMac you don't worry about static shocking computer, you worry about computer static shocking you.

such was the way back then. there was no "portable", only "luggable".

also, i hope you've gotten better with public transit. my first time i at least had guides, but my first time alone was a bit nerve-wracking. given i had to take it near-daily, though, it got routine fast. :0

AB is shaping up to be yet another interesting story in the making especially considering it's looking completely canon that me and Steve are sleeping in Katja (that's my car)

True that. Another good example is the Sega Nomad; it gets maybe an hour or two of battery life tops -w-;

Also, interesting; sort of like how I'm likely going to end up sleeping back there for a while, as I get everything sorted out for an apartment

Chocofreak13

warning you now, we may go Kyuubey on you and force you into some kind of contract. not that we don't care, but it's a little awkward to play video games in our underwear and eat snacks in the tub with a house guest. ^^;;; (plus, you'll likely want your own space, too. i'm just concerned over what we're going to do with Vester. ;^; )
