in case it wasn't clear, today was a great fucking day. got out of here in a timely manner, met up with Steve at the park around 11am, spent the day just cuddled up with him in the woods till 2, when we went to check on his car, after which we went to the old salem graveyard by the historical museum for another hour and a half. gave him his fair gift when it was time for him to head off to work, spent the afternoon earning some cash from my grandpa and watching anime, after which we went and got chinese. -w-
ran some errands (wish i had run into Steve at work, but sadly did not), came home and showered, napped for a few hours. -w-

and tomorrow i get to see Steve again and spend the day playing various games. xD

For having only slept 5 hours, I feel quite refreshed.

I also have that weird tendency that sometimes I am more rejuvenated after a short sleep than I have the right for, especially if something exciting is about to happen. Other times, I am so knocked out even after the usual 8 hours or such.

I miss affectionate contact with a significant other. -.-

At the same time though I have that whole "strong independent woman who don't need a man" thing going on, despite being in a committed relationship of 3+ years. So there's that.

@Bella: I know that feel; I often wish I had someone...but other times I think about how possibly having someone might prevent me from reaching my goals; like how my sister wants out of this town just as bad as I do, and yet, she's locked here because of bro-in-law :\
