Today I hacked up a really, really awful 00s-era sweater-dress to make into a knit skirt and arm warmers ... before anyone feels bad for it, it's irredeemably ugly (and not in an endearing, ironically-stupid-looking "ugly sweater" sorta way either) and had been lying in a pile in the bottom of my closet for like two years.  It doesn't even fit me.
