My day was good. I renewed my grandma's phone for her, which she paid me for, so I was able to get myself a nice lunch over at Subway, and then I went over to Game-X-Change; discovering they had a buy 2 get 1 free sale on PS2 and original Xbox games, which I took advantage of to get the first Fullmetal Alchemist game, Legend of Kay (A Ninja Gaiden clone for the PS2 that was pretty cool from what I remember), and Project Gotham Racing 2 (Easily my all-time favorite original Xbox game, and among my favorite racing games). Then, while at work, my bro-in-law gave me free chicken wings >:3

So, I think the fuel gauge in my car is messed up. I put about 5 gallons in, and the needle didn't budge at all, so either the tank is bigger than I expected, or the sending unit is dead :\

Spirit's seem to have a fair amount of instrument problems the older they get.  My brother's '93 has trouble with the speedometer, gas gauge, oil gauge, and tachometer.

Going to Cass tomorrow.

Wow; his has the tachometer? Mine just has a gigantic gas gauge in that spot ^^;;

But, the speedometer is working, the alternator gauge is working, and all the lights are working. Good enough to pass inspection, although I'd like the gas gauge to work right; as I'd rather not break down on the side of the road because I couldn't tell how much I had in
EDIT INVOLVING CAR: My dad and I did some testing earlier, and believe it's the sending unit inside the gas tank that is the problem. He thinks maybe he can replace the floater and it'll work

On a different note, if I get a chance I'll slip away to grandma's office tonight :3

@Stew, Pentium: I've thought about getting an older car, but idk if the mechanical difficulties in getting it / keeping it going would be worth it. I suppose it would depend on the model, though. :/

True that. Although, for all the issues I had with it last winter, the Ramcharger is great during the warmer months...but could really benefit from a rebuilt engine
