Writing from my currently-unnamed laptop, guys~

Nichi

Sweet ^_^

So, Kari said she shipped out my stuff today. Yay! >w<

Wasn't sure if this belonged here or relationship thread, but I have been fairly interested in MBTI personality types over the years.
Certainly, not everyone is the same and you can't generalize everyone into just 16 types. The types are more based on how you receive and process information and emotions, rather than "personalities", despite what those online quizzes would have you believe.

I'm pretty much convinced I'm INFP.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wAlL99vDn4 (if interested in a video on the type in contrast with INFJ)

Thoughts?

is that a computer thing? or something to do with blood types? :\
For type B, it's when you can hear relaxing things and get really positive feelings on it and relax. For type A, you can merely think about positive things and more or less meditate on it and receive relaxing feelings. (almost like drug induced happy feelings, beyond what normal people would get)

It's not something everyone has, but it's categorized by chills forming at the top of the head and moving throughout the body with a pleasant, tired feeling. It's like being able to give yourself a relaxing drug whenever you feel like it. This explains a bit about my overall personality indeed.

@kriz: i think i might have something within that, too. every now and then i'll hear or see or think of something nice and i'll get nice warm goosebumps all over. the only way i can describe it beyond that is like in anime when that wash of gold magic comes over someone and they feel all warm and smiley. -w-

@sleepyd: hm, i'm kinda curious as to what i am or what it's about. can you provide a wiki link or a link to a quiz or something? :\

@pent: yes, we FINALLY shipped it out, USPS Ground. no insurance, sadly, but signature confirmation on it. should arrive in about 7 days.

@bella: any thoughts on a name? i've already decided on one for the laptop pent is building me, but i'd like to hear what yours is called. :3

as nice as posting is, something terrible happened earlier. we came in from burying pud'n and found out that two more of the kittens died. ;^;
mina and joe will be joining their brother soon....

mina was the runt, so she had a tougher time from the start. if i could do something different, i would have given her formula like we had planned, but the vet said that it's likely these two would have died anyway. ;^; joe was bigger than mina, but they were both smaller than the rest, so methinks it was just sibling rivalry gone amok. they didn't have any wounds or any discharge to suggest infection, so it's likely they just didn't get enough nutrition.
tbh saying that makes me feel worse. we bought the bottle and the formula, too.... ;^;

aah, I'm sorry to hear that. Such is life, I guess.

As for MBTI tests, it's hard to find a good one, really. I found mine out through the crappier tests (which didn't get it right a few times) and some research on my own. Looking online, it seems most MBTI people recommend mypersonality.info tests but that requires (free) registration, so I haven't looked at it. But maybe you can give it a shot if you like. (Or try the less accurate ones floating around the netz)

So the release of Project Diva F for the PSVita is getting really close (meaning I'm getting really excited about it) but now I'm going to have a little problem.
I just got what the shipping costs are looking like and its going to be between 2040 and 2400 Yen for the game to be shipped to the states, now take the total cost of the game (6060 Yen [13% off]) and add that to shipping.

I'm looking at paying 8120-8460 Yen (102.31-106.60 USD) for a single game and its pre-order bonus right after getting my ATH-M50

Just wondering what you guys have payed ridiculous amounts of money for, I couldn't think of a thread to put this in and I didn't feel like making a new thread~

stewartsage

Uh..... nothing really.  I mean, I paid a thousand for my laptop but it wasn't exactly my money and she's been a good laptop these last four years.

.....I spent $5 on Portal 2 earlier today.

Nichi

I paid $150 for an invisible Apple III last October :P

@Stew: Nice :3

Chocofreak13

@stew: kickass. :0

things i've paid a ridiculous amount for: anime goods, mostly plushies. i've been blessed with knowing all the right people, so most of my stuff has been free (either by gifts or it was destined for the trash heap anyway, or in the case of one block of manga, destined for the christian bookstore), but some of the stuff i've paid for.
for example, the most i've paid for a single plushie is $45. (bought a boxed set of 3 for $50 once.) the most i've paid for an anime book was $42. i've dropped $20+ on figurines before paid somewhere in the 20-30 dollar range for a pillow, and almost got a wallscroll for $28 once (it would have been a birthday present from someone, though, and it was sold out by the time we got back to it), and the dollfie orders have spiked in price on occasion.
tbh, though, 'ridiculous' is in the eye of the beholder. i don't regret a single purchase.

as for stuff i've spent a ridiculously LOW amount for, that'd be all the free stuff. i've also plenty of books on discount from their original price, got a pinup poster for 50¢, and gotten other anime items for cheap or free. (some of them, such as my Vincent plushie, are quite expensive and/or rare, so i'm really lucky. -w- )

@Stew: $5 for Portal 2?! Good find. : o

@Kari, re: Computer names: IDK yet. I'm thinking of naming her Xue (she is a Taiwanese computer after all), but I'm not sure if anyone will be able to properly pronounce that. (I'm not even sure I can.) u.u

@Genpop: I have to try to get on a proper sleep schedule, I passed out last night at like 2am, woke up at like 4am, and then went to sleep again and woke up at noon. :|

Nichi

Ah. So that's why you disappeared mid conversation ^_^;;

You pulled a Stew! xD

Dear OSC,

                Have you read your daily SICP today?

Had to order the book for my AP: CS class this year and my college CS class when I'm a freshmen, lucky for me my dad was willing to pay for it~
