Since 11:59PM PST, 12/31/2006, IBM has officially discontinued support for OS/2.  Just like with 98-chan and ME-chan, OS/2-chan is now officially abandonware.  ;___;

Clearly she's sad, but let's show her that we'll always be by her side, through better or worse.  ^___^

Well, tis' just a flesh wound! Anyway, my winter vacation is over tomorrow. I won't be able to post 24/7, and I'll be in bed earlier. Wednesday I go back to school. But it's not too bad. I've got the Science Olympiad Piqua Invitational Saturday, so I've got something to look forward to! See yinz later!

I think I'm just going crazy... I saw an advertisement of Auchan (Auchan SA is an international retail group and multinational corporation headquartered in Lille, France. , according to Wikipedia) - and what came to my mind? Auchan --> Au-chan (Au is from the latin aurum and means gold - it's in the periodic table). My mind is abnormal... o_o

Well, I go back to school on the 8th.
I can do one of these things:
1. Stay online 24/7 (Impossible because my sister is ungrounded for the week...lappy is still broken)

2. Work on my story (High chance, and hope to have three chapters done by the 22nd, my birthday)

3. Play my psp ('nuf said)

4. Choose options 2+3

...I choose option 4!!!

As for precious metal-tans, I don't quite know how that would work. But be sure to get a uranium-tan for me!

So as not to take too much attention away from OS-tans, I figured PM-tans should just be like generic Moe personfications that the Captain complains about all the time.
Grab a bar of platinum, stick a cute face and some pigtails, and you're set.  ^__^
Although maybe one can go the full mile and change their appearance to reflect a unique personality trait.

Gold-chan would be a temptress, but also carries a parasol due to her unique heat-shielding properties.
Silver-chan would be a well-mannered techie, but has an obsessive-compulsive fear of tarnishing.
Uranium-chan is probably eternally floored from all the centrifuges she's been spun around in, and doesn't care if her horrendous hygiene repels everyone.

Yes, I complain about that alot... but was it so hard to do?  That prolly took you less then 5 minutes.  It was rather simplistic, but it was just an example.

Well I guess if the artist was like me, and was on some wacky crusade to draw an OS-tan for every Final Fantasy potion in existence, then I guess spending some time developing an actual character personality is at a premium.  ^^;

But I don't mind as long as it diverts attention away from OS-tans -- that's where all the action is!  ^v^

Personally, I'd like to see our new OS-tans develop into deeper characters before we start new ones. For example, I'd like to see Amiga-tan become a deep, interesting character like Homeko. We've had great support of OS/2-tan, so let's start to develop our characters before we create more.
