Came back from Greece yesterday - was really nice but WAY TOO HOT!!!
Could someone please give me a short summary of what has happened here since my departure?

Also, there was a nice little CD in the mail yesterday labeled "OpenVMS Hobbyist Kit - OpenVMS Alpha V8.3 and Selected Products"
I've already did a basic setup of the system, currently generating licenses (VMS's licensing model is one of the strictest I've ever seen... you can get into the system account but not much more.... even TCP/IP and DECnet require separate licenses!)

@paul: not much, stew has finished the run of his summer job, the weather around here has gotten better, and my laptop's wireless card crapped out again, so i'm using my other laptop Tanky, which runs 98SE.
this has given me the chance to draw moar comics, which seems to have rejuvinated some OS-tan talk, and gotten other people to write/draw too. :3

so it turns out there's a calendar function on this site that lists everyone's birthday! ^^ (turns out, the clone is the only one here with a may birthday. :\ and bella is the only one that didn't list her real age. :3)

The Clone isn't alone with being alone in May. Out of all the grandchildren on my mom's side of the family, my sister is the only one born that month; everybody else, including myself, where born in April

Well, they're in the same boat; The Clone is the only OSCer in May, while my sister is the only grandchild on my mom's side in May

Now, on the other hand, I'm the only male grandchild on my dad's side

in other news, i've found 2 more listings on ebay to watch (an SM bento, ludicriously cheap, and what could be an SM thermos), and i found a quasi-dr. who reference in nature:

In other news, I'm off work tomorrow! Yay!
...Although, the entire reason I took off was because my mom wants me to come along to a funeral for a relative I never heard of until I was told yesterday that they died. Yay.

This is sadly normal for this family; I get drug along to the funeral for a relative I never heard of before. I'd feel bad for not going, for the relatives who are going, who do know me, would wonder why I didn't show up, but then I feel bad for going; because I feel out of place, since I never knew this person to begin with

Since the funeral is out of town, we are planning on doing some other stuff while in the area. Likely, I'll swing by the place where they hold the GED test to get information on when it's held, so I can plan my schedule accordingly

The funeral happens to be in the same city where the nearest place that does GED testing is located, so it works out
