ah right, makes me remember my old PCs; i had to threaten them with such vein threats like "I'll toss you outta the dam window if you don't start working right now!" to get them to work... Wich -oddly- usually worked ^_^

My old XP machine decided to really slow down the last few days we had it before it was replaced by out new Vista machine.  We joked that it had become sentient and was pissed that we were replacing it...

Heh, that's why i take good care of my systems (even though on the surface it'd look like i'd be treating them rough), also i never replace a complete system, i always upgrade...that's probably why i always get the performance i wawnt...

Besides there's a sort of mutual respect between me and my systems, i respect them for what they are; super loyal machines, because when you hit that powerswitch, the system will want to and will try to boot up, even though parts may be broken... Now if that isn't serving unconditionally, i don't know what is ^_^

Delta-II is broken, and I'm turning her into the damn store. I'm expecting a processor error or broken, but I don't have the tools to verify the shit - nor the budget to recklessly buy a new one.

ooh, auw... My experience tells me that when a CPU dies (especially when it was overheated) it tends to kill the MoBo along with it...

mmm, talking about died MoBo's; I remember something that happened to us on my house oO...

on our case, the power supply was rattling; but noone thinking about some serious, still a day that a brother was using it and... poof, power sparkles and throw smoke O__O... MoBo was OK (still one day that brother and me applies a static chargue cleaning it with a brush >_<'), CD burner died, both HDD's died (2), and FDD is OK too oO...

and btw, Im reporting too ^¬^... a large time since my last login here TwT... sooooorry =w='...

Back nao!  The new monitor came in yesterday, while I was away at a cookout.  I got home kind of late last night, but got right to setting everything up anyway.  I was really tired after all the moving and rearranging and whatnot, so instead of visiting here, I instead spent my remaining waking hours looking at... what else?  PR0NZ.

So here I am, molting like a reptile, but content because I have a far better monitor than I've ever had.  I think my computer's performance has actually improved a bit too!

I was just finishing up an animu episode (1st ep of Kanamemo, lawl yuri watch eet nao) and getting out on the intarwebs again, when I realized that my mouse was acting up, zooming when I scrolled, opening new tabs, etc. So I reached for the CTRL key with my finger to zoom in again...and hit something hard.

I'd managed to place the empty plate (it'd been ice cream on it) just so it pressed down the CTRL key, and nothing else.

That was strangely amusing. -w-

Anyway, getting myself a 10k laptop (That's what, 1200$ or something) on monday, the Acer 8930G. Sweet-ass machine. Wish me luck, and a good budget. ;w;
