QuoteGood morning, peoples. Actually it's dinnertime, but, it doesn't really matter. Anyways, if you are to find me very depressed and so on and not my usual cheery self these coming days...have a look at my sig. I'll be gone away on a school trip tomorrow and over the weekend though, so hopefully I'll be able to recover but...well, don't expect anything out of me, is what I'd like to say.

I'm sorry to hear that.

SleepyD

I don't know the circumstances, but I do offer my condolences.
Someone passing so young is tragic indeed...

NejinOniwa

Thanks...
I've been trying to wear that coat out during the weekend, and having a bunch of good classmates around you can REALLY help when you're like that. As, of course, do you people. ^^
I'll be trying to cheer up.

Yo all.....
Apparently my ability to resume normal internet functions while on leave were a bit overstated.  Truth is, there were lots of computer-related things to fix here and much Linux goodness to dispense, so I've not had much time to do anything but that (as well as some RL enjoyment on the side).  Hope to check out the main threads later.  ^___^

*sneaks off*

Nejin,
Sorry to hear about your present circumstances. I can't say that I've been through what you have, but as they say, time heals all wounds. I offer my condolences...

*regains composure*

Everyone,
Sorry about my absence. My RL has gotten really busy in only a few short days, and I haven't had a chance to post often. I hope my article on PET-tan makes up for the delay. Time is kinda short, so I'll see yinz later!

Bella

I guess I'll hop on the busy RL bandwagon XD

Soon, we'll be moving to a new house. Good news is, it's just a town over from where we live. Bad news is, we'll have no cable (and therefor no DSL), and the local cable companies refuse to run it out our area.

Since I refuse to use dial-up, and most of the other options are impractical, it looks like we're going to have to use wireless broadband. One problem, though...none of the major cell phone companies actually have true wierless broadband in this part of NH. Bottom line....we may have to pay $50 a month for something that's only slighly faster than dial-up.

THE HORROR!!!
I suffer with you, Bella-san! I've lived with a 10Mbit, and lately 100/10mbit, connection since what, like, 2000 or something, and I HATE not being able to speed it on the internet freeways!

I just came back from my first day of grade 11 and the school looks worse then when I left for summer vacation! But... I did get law, programming, and art this semester so I'm pretty happy. ^__^ But I didn't get my bio course! >_< But then again, lots of people didn't get the courses they wanted so I'm not alone.

And whoever decided that math should be first thing in the morning should be beaten with a stick. I'm not joking. >_<

Second that notion. Something worst than brain freeze in the morning, but you should able to resist it better if you can handle programming.

hello everyone, finally when the exam is over and i thought that i'll be free during the break.. my screen gone black and i lived a whole two weeks without her (my reliable pc) T.T........ * i can't live without you!!*

but those nightmare without pc is finally over since i got her a new monitor. *she's re-live,ho-yah*

Quoteand I HATE not being able to speed it on the internet freeways!

yeah that the same with me, well recently i'm also relying in my mobile phone as a modem since im staying at my gramp's house.
(i'll be dead if i cost him bills)

in the new class session i'll be starting on my programming too, just need a few quality time studying then i think i'll be ok.

Well, we're always here. ^^

I agree, I've seen my classmates help others when a certain classmate of mine passed freshman year high school. I didn't know him personally, but I have seen what friends and classmates can do.

No kidding, and I supposedly good at math. I tell ya, even though Vector Calculus is supposed to be the easiest part of calculus, taking it at 7:15am in the morning every day was beyond horrid.  (I took this for summer)

And I can handle programming too.

Since I don't want to be an engineer that can't do calculus, I'm taking it again. ^^; (at the more sane hour of 10am)

ShinyJam

Programming feel more difficult than calculus, maybe cause I took Advance Placement ><

Ah I gonna be engineer too, still burning on algebra! XD

Well, good sir, I wish you luck in your endeavors. ^^

I'm majoring in Aerospace Engineering and minoring in Computer Science, and I have taken AP CompSci and AP Calc BC back in high school.

And I still think programming is easier than calculus to me. XD;

It might be how your brain thinks about things.
Personally, I can't grasp theoretical concepts as easily as concepts that I can apply.  That's why I tend to learn my calculus more easily from my physics class. ^^
As for CompSci, I've always found programming fun.  It's like a puzzle of sorts. hehe :3  I remember being so proud of a recursive function I wrote in Java when I was programming a text-based 2p-version of Go (As in Hikaru no Go, as in Asian board game Go)

Exa

* walks up from a door, and yawns *

Oh my, it seems that I overslept a little... but I'm alive ^^

So, hello again! What's up? Anything strange happened in the last few months?

Aurora Borealis

I also hate having math in the morning. Was especially bad in 9th grade when I had Geometry first thing >__<. But nothing says good wake-up call like a bunch of hard math first thing in the morning!

At least now I have math in the middle of the school day when I am fully attentive.

Haven't seen you in a long time, Exa! And as for things that have happened in the last few months, I don't remember if anything strange happened but as for other things that happened that I remember right away: There is an OS-tan wiki revival project going on (got a lot done in the past week or so!) and I started chapter 2 of zerOSanity! And of course more OS-tan art from the forum's artists!
