Well, given that the filenames all start "MVC-", is it a Sony Mavica? Those things are awesome!

Yeah, I knew the filename would make it easy to recognise.

The exact model is a FD7, early model with the 10x zoom.



Dug out a sacrificial floppydisk for it, and couldn't have found a better specimen.

I just grabbed this one off ebay for about 50bucks. Japanese seller said it had a "read error" but it was pretty clear they were using either a corrupted/protected or unformatted disk to test it.

They seem much more common on the US market. Seen a good bunch of them for just as low as 10bucks on ebay.
