I've been around and about. Mostly at home, but also in japan. Was a wild ride, to say the least.

I've been spending a lot of my free time doing GM duties for my Pathfinder group. That, and university is a big time-thief in general. Things have been a bit crazy the last few months, but I've started to realize that's not really gonna change and it's no reason to cut myself off from the world, lol.
So I suppose I'm back, mostly.

I care about Pathfinder some now, that's hot news.

I suppose the biggest change for me is leaving Walmart last November, ultimately going back to Pizza Hut. I'm making less money, but after a colossal falling out with my boss, I could not, in good conscious, continue working there under her :\

Chocofreak13

^self preservation dictates you NOT work there.

@stew: i'm on that bandwagon, having played in my first Pathfinder game. twas a oneshot, but it was still decent. reeeeeeeally can see how it's a knockoff D&D, though. -w-;;

True that, mon; I still have people telling me I should have stayed there, not understanding the situation at all :\

I saw pics from your Japan trip on FB! Honestly I'd been meaning to get in touch with you (either on FB or skype) but had been so busy myself I never got around to it... I do suffer the same problem as you, I tend to cut myself off from others when I have a lot on my plate. ><

S'good to have you back, at any rate!

As for life updates...
I'm really into mathematics now.
I also now have a fancy computer!

@nej: i remember pent mentioning something about Japan but the one time i tried to contact you via FB you never responded. given you never use it anyway, i didn't think it reliable. of course, Skype wasn't doing shit either.

kyoto srsly you lucky fucking bastard i hate you so much

i mean in terms of character creation and whatnot. what you make of it beyond that is different--either it can be played like D&D or it can't. as i recall we played it unlike D&D and it was actually a lot more free-swinging in that regard. i liked it and i liked my character from it. :0

It's not exactly a knock-off - it's an optimization of the 3.5 rules in a different direction than 4.0 was.

We're playing 3 campaigns at the moment; one mostly made by the dutch guy, Rise of the Runelords, and then one campaign made by me. It's fun times.

And yeah, FB is unreliable. I use it when the environment craves me to...which is painfully often, being a student...but avoid it otherwise.
