Might be taking geology next semester.

Geology is probably my third-favorite science (PHYSICS MASTER RACE, astronomy is cool too) but it fits into my schedule nicely and, you know, rocks ... I can probably handle rocks.

His name is Boulder.

Volunteering the next couple weekends at Harpers Ferry because it's kind of a quiet season, it let's me play big boy dress up, and gets me away from home for a few days.

Also mom collects her own pine cones/pine boughs for home decorating and thankfully she hates scented things as much as I do so that isn't a holiday problem.  Like, a literal ton of cookies always is though.

Nichi

I has space heater now :3

Also, the second season of Adventure Time; which we had for $9. I promptly bought it when I got off >w>;

welp, i'd say i have to rethink your christmas present, but i keep forgetting: I ALREADY FUCKING BOUGHT YOUR CHRISTMAS PRESENT.
srsly, i keep forgetting those are a thing. at least it's one less person to buy for.

@stew: so the metric ton of baked goods is what scents your season?
also have fun volunteering. :3

@bells: if you get any neat crystals and such and don't need them by the end of the semester pass them along. i've been thinking lately about how i can get more in touch with my religion without it being artificial or forced and i've always loved rocks and crystals, so gemology might be a good way for me to channel my inner wiccan. i already have a huge fricken lump of rose quartz to start me off. (bonus points since rose quartz is associated with healing AND it's a lamp so i'ma bask in its sweet-ass glow when i get sick this year.)

EDIT:
okay all of you need to fucking watch this right now and not just because within the first 30-45 seconds there's a vintage telegraph that may or may not look like a hollerith tabulator

there's snow stuck on the ground and its cold and the hallways smell like christmas its like it happened overnight wtf
What's in your hand, back at me. I have it, it's an oyster with two figures of your favorite Touhou characters. Look again, the figures are now vials of the Hourai Elixir. Anything is possible when your waifu smells like Old World and not a man. I'm a frog.

Nichi

I wish I could have slept in this morning; it's super-cozy in my room ;_;

Nice :3

So far, today is very busy. I feel sorry for one of my coworkers, whom injured his foot and is limping, but still working (Granted, IDK if that's so much Walmart as it is him; given that he's the type that will keep working regardless of anything wrong with him). Also, hearing about the Black Friday schedules has me thankful my last day is the Monday before; I feel sorry for the coworkers I do like for what they have in store, even if most of them have done this for several years now.

EDIT: Have I ever mentioned I fucking hate self-righteous old people? Because I do.
Had some old fart start screaming at me because he bought this Windows Phone "a month ago", it broke, and he demanded I sell him an exact replacement for it; even though it was a discontinued model we were merely clearing out excess of to make room for the new one. However, he lacked any sort of comprehension to understand that model had been out for over a year, he refused to buy the new model that replaced it, he kept cutting me off and getting louder over not getting his way, he threw a fit over how I can't get his pictures off his broken phone because our computer systems do not have the capability to even access a phone in that manner, and ultimately ended with him swearing to never shop at Walmart again, all while you have no clue how thankful I am that I'm leaving that cesspool soon.

Speaking of, my last day may be this Friday; as I'm not on the schedule for the week after. I'm going to double-check on my next day just to be sure.

so i got my lip pierced

Dr. Kraus

That feeling when you just bought tickets to the Pokemon Symphonic Evolution Concert in Pittsburgh.

Nichi

@Kraus: *w*
TBH, I would have loved to have gone to the Zelda symphony they had a few years ago, but I didn't have the money to. I believe they had a stop in Dallas?

Chocofreak13

haha, awesome! my friend's roommate and her fiancee went to the Zelda one when it passed through Boston a year or two ago. :3
@cocks: coolio. do your best to keep it clean. :0
@pent: be thankful that you're leaving. according to Steve, everyone at Walmart is scheduled ON thanksgiving, and if they don't show they're fired. ;^;

speaking of Steve, we both said the L word this weekend and i think i've found my Matesprit.

in other news, i was declared incompetent by a bitchy old lady customer today, we had 3 new girls (so that was a fresh level of weirdo hell o__o ) and i called 10 Hot Topic stores, and the 11th had the coat i was looking for. it is an hour away. i have been wanting this coat for over a year. road trip in the name of fashion? road trip in the name of fashion. =w=
