@sleepy, pent: it's interesting how phone procedures vary across the country. perhaps because there's one area code for the whole state, we never have to dial the area code unless we're calling out of state. each region has different number sequences for the first three digits, however (as in ### - ____). in this area, there's 898, 893, and 434 (and occasionally 432). idk the procedures for calling numbers while in mass, but i always considered it a region-based thing (such as, if you're in a 978 area, calling a 978 area, you don't need the area code). idk if this is correct, however, since most of my opinion is based off of cell phones.

@simon: you're missing the point, this isn't about a "war on black people" or a "war on white people", it's about a girl who can't get her nose out of others' business or lives, and chooses to judge others based off their looks rather than their character. it's about school violence and peer issues. if anything, this proves that there's strife among all colours and classes. :\

Looking for Japanese cartoons to download (old or new), preferably something with proxy battles in it.

Anyone know any good shows? I know this isn't the anime thread, but I'm just really bored with the shows I'm watching now.

went to nashua today. claire wasn't feeling well and we were running late, so she rescheduled her dentist appointment (AGAIN), but we still bopped around and did stuff, such as get lab paperwork for mum and go to the salvation army.  went to mum's therapy appointment, me and claire watched the first 2 episodes of ParaKiss. learned that Claire likes ParaKiss and has watched it before, offered the Prequel and lending of the Manga to her. voted, semi-successfully. time for pasta.
