Ahh. I thought it had to do with that one pic in RPT
(Which, in reaction to the people in that picture, I direct you to the last picture of my post in RPT -w-; )

Chocofreak13

So today my coworkers and I went to Marlinton for an evening out at Dairy Queen that morphed into us being colossal derps around the Marlinton Depot as well as the elementary school playground.  Fun times were had by all.

I was on the train today, don't know what I'm doing tomorrow or Saturday.  I'm taking Sunday off because I have to go home for my dad's last Sunday.  I haven't really mentioned it but my dad's essentially being laid off.  The church can't afford to pay him any more and they wanted to kick him to the curb about six/seven months ago (yes, Christmas time) but the Presbytery (local church council) ordered they pay him for six more months to give him time to find a new job.  Sadly, he hasn't, so things are about to get tough for awhile unless he can find something soon.

Bella

@Stew: Oh shit, I'm sorry to hear that. I remember you mentioning it awhile back but you never told me if he found another job or not or when he was going to be laid off. : (

@Genpop: TIL if I ask my dad for permission to use his credit card to buy something online in the middle of the night, he will allow me to and then completely forget about it.

Chocofreak13

dude, are our parents related? i asked to use my mum's card to bid on an ebay auction the other day and she didn't remember a thing in the morning. it was only for $3 and i lost anyway, but still. :\

@stew: suuucks, man. never knew your dad was a man of the cloth(?).while i feel for ya, that's the problem with choosing such a specific line of work. has he looked in other towns/churches in the area to see if he could apply to those?
wait, of course he has, i'm a derp. sorry, hope things get better. :[

So, while having lunch today, I happen to notice a guy whom looked strangely like Stew. However, the lack of a Bella clinging to him was enough to tip me off that it wasn't him ^^;

Chances are like 75% it wasn't me or NegaStew.

Must.  Not.  Buy.  All the books.  At the company store.

Nichi

BUY ALL THE THINGS!

So, my sister mentioned her collection of original Game Boy games, as well as 95% of her Game Boy Advance collection, were stolen. As sad as that is, it did give me an idea of something to do for her for Christmas: give her a gift basket of games I remember her mentioning she had, plus a few new ones i know she'd like :3

Chocofreak13

>:3

i should start thinking of christmas presents for people. :\

You want to give me a shrubbery~
*waves pocket watch around*

On a different note, one of the delivery drivers at work is annoying. I mentioned him a while back; how he's one of those metalheads whom feels metal is the only valid genre and anything else is infinitely inferior. But, I'm so fucking sick of how some random song of any genre that isn't metal is on the radio, I'm not paying attention and am doing my job, and he has to stop and badger me with "do you like this shit?" and then going into a super-long spill on how the people who likes this sort of music are "fucktards" >_>;;

It's bad enough with pop of any era, but he gets 9001% worse if it happens to be on a country station and I dare move a single muscle while working because apparently I'm suppose to freeze up when country is playing; so much as breathing while it's playing automatically means I like it in his eyes >_<;;

Also, he does play video games...but he's one of those "stop having fun" guys; as he badgers everyone who plays this one MMO that he's also on to build their characters a certain way, and he will not shut up if you do anything that isn't ideal in his eyes. It's to the point that my bro-in-law has him blocked; since he just wants to have fun with friends, without a guy with too much time on his hands telling him how he should play.

Chocofreak13

sounds like quite the troll. either that or he has a very narrow view of the world and anything that doesn't fit is a target. >>;

I think it's the latter, to be honest :\

Chocofreak13

avoid him, then, because that's part of a mental disorder. :3

It's always weird to spot a stranger who looks like someone you know. : o

Also, I need a "Worlds Best Harmless Stalker" teeshirt apparently. 。◕ ‿ ◕。

Also, Pent, regarding your jerky coworker, I've run across people like that before (thankfully, never in my circle of friends, so I should count myself lucky). I chalk it up to snobbery, pure and simple - some people just need to feel superior be it through their musical tastes, game choices, hobbies or talents, etc.

Agreeing with Kari here, it's best to just avoid those types.
