I think it was the night of 28th-29th this month when I had a dream that OS-tan Collections was having a pre-christmas party organized together with the student LGBT group of Tampere. This in itself is of little surprise as I at least know both instances.

What made it odd was that it was organized during my 15-minute-long coffee break from work in an imaginary hyper market, where I worked at wearing a tuxedo as work uniform. For some reason I was carrying a person I identified as NejinOniwa up the stairs (something I could physically NEVER do in real life) when from the top of the stairs appeared a person I believed was Chocofreak, who then threw a can of soda at me. I couldn't catch it, having both my hands full, so I made some lame leap for it instead and ended up rolling down the stairs. x.x Then there were lots of others from OSC, all of whom seemed to have dyed their hair blue for whatever reason. All of it was very confusing. ._.

The LGBT group part of the party-goers provided everyone with a chance to win an awesome prize: a totally free advertisement pen from a famous gay bar in Tampere. Free for use for two hours! I think at this point the shock was already unbearable and I finally woke up when one of my friends from that group grabbed my leg and I screamed.

I would rate it Very Good in my dream scale. x)

Red-Machine

LGBT party?  Sounds like fun.  How are you aquainted with them?

Whenever alphabets are used in abbreviations in a manner that it's not possible to form a silly-sounding word from it all, count me in. xD

Seriously though, most of my board-gaming/card-gaming/gaming friends that I got to know during university were more or less involved in the group (coincidence? Are gamers inherently gayer than the rest of people in Tampere?) and well, I'm not totally invisible in Prides either despite my pending straight marriage. ^^ I guess I identify as queer enough to feel involved still and I'm very grateful for all of those friends for getting me through the depression that I was having some years ago when I practically had no other friends in the city at all.

a few days ago i dreamt that my cat ran away to go live at a work camp, and that i could only see her once a year or something. so my parents tried to get me a new cat, and suddenly i was this little 6-yr-old blonde girl, and i couldn't choose between the girl or boy kitten (i wanted both).

i woke up and cried ;___; then went to the bathroom to check on my cat.

this morning i day/dreamed that i was living on a space station with a bunch of other kids, but we weren't allowed to come into contact w/ each other (it was regulation or something, they were really strict). for some reason sanji was on board with me, and we wanted to be together (like, hug and share a bed and stuff, cause it was scary there), but the staff got mad, so me and sanji got into an escape pod (like a 1-person tube) and we ended up getting ejected into space and freezing to death in each other's arms.

i also dreamt i finally got my friend's christmas present in the mail. :\

I've been having the most epically epic dreams in the mornings; though I forget yesterday's. ><

For some reason I dream often of airports. Most of the time it's just the usual stuff: airplane leaving without me and whatnot, but the last few times this year I've had a few annoying changes in the airport design itself.

The same night I dreamt of that Christmas party strangeness, I was also again at an airport. The ground plan for the entire thing was like exactly that of my old middle school / 1st year of high school building, but the damn thing was pretty much finished up with this shitty fitted carpet popular in the 80s that muffled the footsteps and made it superdifficult to pull the million-ton suitcase after me. -.- For some reason they were obviously also rebelling against the whole non-smoking regulation as pretty much all the furniture/whatever were high bar tables with lots of ash trays and smoke hanging above the whole.

So yeah, in addition to not being able to catch my non-existent plane I had to endure the snobbish and equally-unhealthy-as-original variation of the school building I never wish to visit again. >.< Next time I'm hoping for a train (please, one that doesn't drive off into the void from the top of a snowy mountain like in another dream).

Red-Machine

Pitkin, your dreams are most likely trying to tell you something if planes leaving without you is a recurring theme.

I guess you're right, Red-Machine. ._. From the sound of the "plane leaving without me" I'd guess it's a fear of missing out of something or fear of loss. I'm dead scared of some things like that, so it's fitting too. ;_;

When I was younger (like pre-teen) I often saw a dream of tripping in stairs and hitting my jaw there, losing all my teeth. I read years after some "dream specialist" considered loss of teeth in a dream a sign of fear of impotence. I somehow doubt I was scared of things like that when like 8 years old. xD

edit: The tooth dream has evolved by now, I remembered: for years I've dreamt of not being able to stop gritting my teeth superstrongly together, and eventually I hear a horrible crack and the teeth break. >.< It's one of the most disgusting nightmares I've ever had. I think it might have to do with the fact that I did have my tooth crack in 2004.

Similar to how hobo's dream of the Big Rock Candy Mountain, I routinely dream of a giant surplus store with reasonable prices and classic supplies.  Somebody put that to music.

I often dream of mazes and labyrinths.... hmmm...

Awhile back I had a dream that I found ANOTHER VIC-20. There are no words to describe how enraged this made me in the dream; and when I woke up, I just sort of stared loathingly across the room at the VICstack. So shaken was I that I briefly mused that they might be a sort of computing bad-luck charm (since I didn't have any old computer issues till THEY showed up) and then considered ditching them and their bad voodoo off on someone else. But then I realised that there wasn't anyone I trusted enough to sell them to; and of course my oath to do no harm to vintage computers (even the ones with BAD VOOOOODOOOO).

I had another meeting-people-from-teh-internets-dream, which I personally find disturbing because I DON'T KNOW YOU SO WHY ARE YOU IN MAH SUBCONSCIOUS?! GET OUT OF THERE! Anyway, a few nights back I dreamt  that I was wandering along this road in the countryside, judging by the flatness it looked like the American Midwest, and I found an abandoned store at the side of the road. I went in (it was dark since the windows were so dirty) and started poking around -- there were a ton of old books, furniture and some vintage clothing hanging on a rack. At some point my subconscious dragged Stewart-san into the mix, and we were devising ways to get all this cool old junk outta the store w/o appearing to be looters or thieves.

I walked outside and found that I was now - le gasp - in a city. It looked like NYC, or my mental image of it, and it was nighttime. An old lady showed up, saying that she was here to take all the stuff out of the store; I freaked out (since there was a ton of stuff I wanted inside) and ended up running "home", where I tried to get a hold of somebody to help me preemptively gut the store. Stewart-san wasn't picking up the phone and neither were any of my other contacts; the last thing I remember, I was trying to get a boxfull of stuff out. I woke up a bit upset that I lost all that cool stuff, and that it was all a dream.... o.o

stewartsage

That sounds like my dream.  Except with other people and goods not entirely government issue.  Actually, not looking like a looter/thief is a going concern for me....

Chocofreak13

sounds like my dreams sometimes, only i'm usually saying stuff like "dammit, how could i forget that!?" or "why can't i go there!!??"

like the dream i had a few months ago about my old high school, only the school was completely revamped in style and featured catacombs of rooms in the back parts. i had fun exploring. :3
