Perhaps, perhaps.
For some reason, I just really like reading tech specs.

Here, neither me or Katarina are technically under consensual age (not that we would do that stuff, I just like cuddles and holding hands).

Chocofreak13

lol. i'm not judging you. :3

yeah, it can be rather interesting to know the specs of a computer. but after accidentally frying speedy, i've sworn never to work on laptops again. ^^;

I knows, just sex in general doesn't appeal to me, I'm more of a romantic. (want another candle light dinner now...)

Always ground yourself with your screwdriver before touching insides :o
I work on laptops all the time, had to clean a 15'' Macbook Pro's fans because the user kept it in ridiculously disgusting conditions.

I also frequently work on the school's ancient Power Mac G3s.

Yes, tho Judgment use Windows laptops:

I'm always helping Kuroko out with hers; she gets a lot of viruses due to the porn sites she frequents.

WHY DID THIS SOUND SO DAMN PERVY IN MY MIND. WHY!?
YOU COULD HAVE PREVENTED THIS

stewartsage

Did I ever tell the forum about the time I tried to fix an outlet with a metal fork and ended up blowing half the fuses in the house?  I didn't think it was touching anything with current running through it!

Also: My favorite screwdriver is insulated.

You know, that sort of bad idea is the kind that can easily get you quite dead. >_>

Just mild electrical shock; it's even lulzier because it wasn't a regular outlet it was the kind for outdoor use on the end of an extension cord.  See, my dad accidentally broke the spike off the bottom and I tried to fix it with a spoon.

We have an operating systems thread, do we even have a hardware thread?

This is the What OS AND Computer Do You Use Thread, so, yes, we do.

Chocofreak13

@nej: we're all pervs here.
@kriz: i fried it by trying to crack the computer open like a clamshell. a screw became lodged in it and when i tried to fire it up, poof.
@red: eventually, all OSes will absorb each other (except some forms of linux, since there are more varieties than insects on the earth).
@stew: don't go overboard with electrocution. it can be fun at first, but then you're unplugging your computer's charger and your hand slips and suddenly there's a shock running through your heart so powerful you can feel it skip a beat. o__o

i'd like to get a skin for speedy..... :3

Doubtful. They'll probably all go Unix or *Nix-like....
